How to make a Variable DC Power Supply (Proteus Simulation)

we made a Variable DC power supply using LM317 regulator , basically we vary the output of the circuit form 1.25V to 14.2V.
First we stepdown the 220V AC to 12.6 V AC then we we rectify the 12.6 AC to 12.6 DC After that we filter and regulate the circuit with Capacitors and LM317 regulator
