My granddaughter was born during the Pandemic. She received a cord blood transplant at 3.5 months which restored the incomplete ( so nonfunctional) immune system she was born with. She was born with a very rare condition called SCID. Severe Combined Immune Deficiency. The donated cord blood saved her life.
I am thankful I got my ability to walk back after my knees, rt. hip and SI Joint was riddled with arthritis. In 2017, everything gave out at once. I had stem cells injected into all those areas over a course of 1 year to rebuild healthy tissues. After six months of physical therapy, rehabilitation and healing, I got my ability back to walk. So, I am thankful to mothers who donate their babies stem cells to science. It saved my quality of life!!! #thankful #grateful and #blessed 💖💖💖💖💖
Drew has always been my favorite of the 2 brothers. And I like Linda as she's so down-to-earth - says a lot about Drew in who he chose. So happy for them & fun watching them with Parker.
Drew, as you look around at the mess just try to remember...this too shall pass but so too will these precious times with Baby Parker...try and relax and let the mess be a testament to your level of love and commitment to your baby and this time in his life!!! You both look amazing!!! Merry Christmas and all the best of love laughter and happiness in the coming year❤⛄🎄🎅🤶🎁❤
You speak the truth. I had a 3 yr old and a new born. He was born at 8 months exactly, they considered him full term because of his size. He was nearly 9 lbs and 21 inches long. He was allergic to almost everything I ate and was in agony until he was old enough to get a full battery of allergy tests. He screamed around the clock. I had a rockerr/recliner that I would use to try and rock him to sleep, but it was never for more than 20 minutes at a time. Believe me, I know sleep deprived snd can relate to the house being less that immaculate. But they griw so fast that if you blink before you know it they've graduated from HS and off to college. By tbe time Parker can walk, time to have him stsrt to participate with pick up, clean up. My kids learned self-sufficency very early. I got a LOT of guff for it, but they all have families now themselves (my oldest has NINE boys, 2 hers, three his and now 2 theirs). The ONLY way she can begin to keep up is bring them up the eay she was. They aren't perfect, but they are learning. HINT: (They seem to learn and retain things much faster when their fav electronics are involved). LoL
Sleep as much as you can! Stay hydrated if your nursing even if you don't think you need it, and healthy snacks! Nursing takes sooo much out of you, but it's so worth it. Forget how things get thrown around, that is everyone's house when you have kids. You're great parents! Merry Christmas!
You both are doing awesome! My daughter didn’t sleep through the night until 9 months. I finally tried having her cry it out and it worked. Every baby is different. You have to do what works best for your baby and family! Hair falling out is completely normal too.
You guys are too adorable together! Love how you tell the stories and shared all the funny and interesting parts of your life...even the messy ones. :)
Awww, good to hear an update on Parker. And, Drew-- I am just like you. A mess drives me bananas. Warming oven as storage, tub full of towels, etc. I would b out of my comfort zone. It's easy to keep it all organized and cozy when our kids/toddlers nap. Happy New Year!
So glad to see you’re both doing so well!!! Yes, parenthood is exhausting, but oh so worth it!!! Sending you blessings and hugs & prayers for continuing parenting adventures ahead, ENJOY & smooch up that little man for me, too adorable!!!❤❤❤
Always, Loved The Show Property Brothers. Such, Warm Personalities You Have. You Make A Lovely Couple. Congratulations On Your Little Baby Boy. He's A Beautiful Addition. God Bless You Abundantly. I Thank You For Sharing Your Wonderful Family... 👶💖🤗
Well, Drew, clutter and messes drive me up a wall too. I go to my daughter's every Tues to babysit my 3 yr old and 7 mo old grandchildren. I'm literally cleaning the kitchen while my granddaughter sleeps. EVERY. SINGLE. TUESDAY. I clean the stove top, appliances, counters, floor. I don't dare say anything. Might not be asked to come back! 🥴 Neither she nor her husband were raised in messy homes. Can't wait to see Parker's adorable face some day. He has so much hair!!! Both of my grandchildren were born with peach fuzz. I can't get over the things parents do now with their babies... pitch black rooms for sleeping with sound machines to mention one. I said to my daughter one day, "How did you survive with the way we parented? We did things much differently." (36 and 38 years ago). Merry Christmas to the three of you 🎄
Sounds like you two are doing just fine on your first time as parents. Parker is a lucky little boy to have you two as parents and you are certainly blessed to have him. Merry Christmas and God Bless to you, Parker, and your entire families!
Thanks for the catchup. Your chubby healthy baby 👶 would have to be love of lives. As a couple 💑 you both look and sound like the true optimists that you are STILL. All the layers of being mum & dad are real enduring for parents. Unreal to see this beautiful picture unfold. 📸 Thank you for letting me view your lifestyle ❤ 😍 💖 ❣ 💕
Thank you for sharing the ups & downs of parenthood ❤️. As for the thinning of hair, it happened to me too. I'm a mom of 4 & it happened everytime each child turned four months old. I had thinning of hair on both sides of the hair line that are closest to the temples. Good news is it grows back 😉
Looks like that the baby are very lucky for have a wonderful parents, I hope one day can see his face. I really think that you guys going for to be more open. ❤️❤️❤️
Love you guys 💕 thanks for sharing your beautiful family 🙏 Parker is a blessed sweet baby boy 👣 to have such wonderful parents. God bless your beautiful family and Happy Holidays ❤️ Much love from Debra in Maine ☃️🎄🛷❄️ Also can't wait to see little Parker's sweet face!😘
Take advantage of every nap Parker takes and rest! A five minute nap makes a world of difference! Place a white noise machine in his room. That works wonders. it it will get easier soon. Enjoy every moment!
Linda, I experienced the thinning hair line after delivering my daughter. It's just hormone changes and your hair will come back. During my pregnancy my hair grew like crazy; everywhere 😜😂. Parker is so adorable and blessed to have great parents 🤗💖
Happy for Parker and all of his fam! Love your genuine sharing with your forever fans❣Try TUBSHROOM for the shower drain....catches a lot of hair which can be discarded before, during, and/or after a shower‼ IT'S STILL NASTY & NAUSEATING (I tend to gag) but it gives a little bit of help❣ Also, my hubby taught me the "CLEAN AS YOU GO" method for cooking, preparing, anything you do in the kitchen, etc. It can save time and prevent forgetting the tedious things we all prefer to forget & often do (e.g. you won't forget to feed Parker or yourselves)!😉🙃😖😅 AND as you, Drew, and Jonathan have always said, find multiple ways you can do something and see what works.
Yes I know I'm an old mom and I just relied on God remember he is your Redeemer so thank the Lord Jesus for that sweet beautiful baby and great parents like you both God bless you both.
Hi!From Hungary (Europai),thank you for all great sharing a beautiful Home shows, thank you for this beautiful video, wonderful family a great picture a wonderful look,.
Linda, this isn’t to make you concerned but maybe you want to check out your hair loss with a doctor. What I noticed was that small bald spot on the side. It’s possible it could be the beginning of alopecia which my mum has suffered with, It starts out as a dime shape bald spot then progresses. It may be reversible if caught soon enough. I believe it is a nerve type disease. Losing all that hair like Drew showed is a worry, so for your own benefit check it out. I’m just going through stage 4 uterine cancer & having had chemo I know how devastating hair loss can be plus seeing my mum lose hers totally at age 40 due to alopecia universalis (all body hair loss) has made me fully appreciate what she went through 😢.
Hi, Drew and Linda! Happy New Year! My goodness. It's been so long.🙃🤭💕 I pray all is well. Congratulations! There's nothing wrong with only sharing so much of your private life with the public. You are not obligated to do anything you don't feel comfortable doing. When y'all are ready you will let us know. I was once told to keep my children out of the media eye, for safety reasons. I thought that was a good idea and stop sharing my children's pics all the time on the media circuit. You keep down drama and unwanted distractions that way.👍🏾💯

Drew and Linda: thank you for sharing your life. My daughter in law saved my granddaughters cord blood 19 yrs ago. Keep sharing Parker’s milestones 😊

I’m 66.. and my babies are well into their 40’s. I’d give anything to have a messy house and be a young parent. It goes very fast.

You're tired now. Wait till he starts walking. You won't need to exercise. Children are such a blessing. Congratulations
