I'm gonna miss that bridge from my teenage years used to ride the bus out to San Pedro while enjoying the view of the Navy ships and carriers docked or dry docked for repairs, I rode my bike across all 3 bridges but this one was exciting and a bit thrilling, I been here in Long Beach ever since my mother moved us from west L.A. when I was just 6 and I have seen lots of crazy stuff seen people get driven out but if you played your cards right in the hood back in the day then all is good and no matter what I don't see myself leaving this beautiful place we call Long Beach our home so many seconds, minutes, hours, days, years have I invested into my everyday life here and still love it, thanks to all that appreciate Long Beach our city council our nurses and doctors our firefighters our police force our ports and its workers and our mayors but most our citizens that keep our beautiful city safe and growing towards a sustainable future city, thanks for taking your time to drone film shoot this video of our bridge in progress from just a LBC guy (DJHUMPTYLB).
It's good to see some shots of the Connally-Pacific yard . That was the last place that my Dad worked before he retired in 1988.
