As a 165 cm 65kg pilot I can empathise with the challenge of landing large A frame topless gliders . Come in faster , not min sink . A full stall , no step landing is a flying manoeuvre. It requires energy. Us short pilots are physically unable to rotate the wing sufficiently from the uprights . Use the back wires . It’s like having power brakes . Your wing will stop fully. And land on your shoulders . No steps, no dropped nose.
