- Determined to circumnavigate Lake Champlain, two friends set out on an adventure of not so epic proportions. Armed with a camera and open minds, they explore the intimate rhythms of the lake, their boat and a lasting friendship. Unfortunately, they don't know how to sail.

Hi!, i am a Caribbean navigator, I do not speak well engish and that but... les deseo lo mejor y muchas mas aventuras, navego veleros tipo Laser, Sunfish y Hobby Cat 18, mas siempre soñé tener un velero pequeño parecido al de ustedes ,.... lo que me es casual es que igualmente toco Flauta barroca , aun mi fuerte es a guitarra, y creo que su cortometraje o pequeña película es Grandiosa .... Les Felicito. I congratulate you and continue to trust and carry out many more adventures
Not your usual sailing video. I really enjoyed watching it. Love Lake Champlain.
A truly lovely piece of film making. A genuine piece of Mark Twain adventuring.
I can't even get my friends to do a day trip. you have a good friend
Very well edited video and audio. Thanks for sharing!
Superb adventure.
Well done! Both the video and the adventure. That was pretty amazing. I hope to see more.
Nice job guys. I love these kinds of adventures and I am glad to say that while there are many houses and camps on the lake there is still a good deal of wooded coastline - Let's keep it that way!
Nice work on the short film! Looks like you had a great journey! Thank you for sharing.
Drfinitely not a SMALL lake. It was considered for awhile for entry as the 6th Great Lake because of its size and origin. Otherwise, very entertaining guys!
Such a cool video! Well put together
Awe man! this is just a pump up for the dream!! Thank you guys! I may just go and buy that boat! With the ambition to over night with my family!
Tres jolie une belle leçon de vie merci pour cette aventure Thank you for your adventure
Very nice enjoyable view. Not quite a circumnavigation however. I realize this is years ago but I would like to make the following suggestions: The size of your boat is perfect for your task and can be easily fitted with cockpit oarlocks for light wind rowing. It would be cool to go up the Otter Creek to Vergennes, I did it with my 37 footer. Also, with a few modifications, the mast could hinge down allowing you to possibly slip under the NY Central Railroad bridge at South Bay making possibly the first modern complete circumnavigation ever! Is there more to this story?
Nice job guys. Glad you survived! Isn’t boat ownership and sailing the best?? (I just bought a 1983 Flicka-20. Smallest blue-water pocket cruiser. Still renovating). ❤ the “Rules of the Road” reminder seen at 15:16; written w sharpie on cabin. Maybe take a USCG basic Navigation and Seamanship course? Best of future adventures. Btw. I’m a Vermont fan boy. Graduated Lyndon State - 1980.
"A SMALL lake between Vermont and New York"???(very beginning) And furthermore, the reason the guns of Ticonderoga are trained on Vermont, is because we don't like them.
LMAO
As others have said, you may have said it jokingly, but to those not in the know, Lake Champlain is not a SMALL lake. In fact, naval battles have been fought on its waters between the British and U.S..
How big is your boat, 20 feet?
thank you.....wheres champ?
I saw Champy as a young teen in the center of Willsboro Bay. I haven't seen the creature since though.
