I haven't played dota in years and I was still scratching my head when watching the video they put here. Why would anyone ever want that? It's like asking if DS would rather have Vacuum or Blinding Light with no blind.
The 2nd clip pretty much described that there's no point to this facet at all. You'll still get the same result if you have the original RP after catching 5 heroes with Horn > Skewer > RP. Other than slighty bigger radius, there's like no advantages at all. No damage increase, no cd reduction, no longer stun duration. The cons outweighs the pros. It doesn't even make sense from a hero synergy standpoint. Even if we ignore the whole "wombo combo" with other heroes, Magnus whole kit by himself was meant to "pull" and slowing enemies together, and he even got a cleave as a cherry on top. The facet should be a different thing, or at least make it a toggleable / alt-cast. Having to choose between RP & RRP for the whole game is stupid.
Too early to say that there's no point to this facet at all. Weirdly enough, RRP can come clutch in certain situations. Like it can disrupt teamfight in a way. But yeah i agree with the toggle thing.
This skill might be good for spectre's aghanim's scepter, probably, but honestly it just looks trash. I think(hope) it will be replaces wuth something useful
If you could land a 4-5 man horn toss, most of the time enemies are separated from each other not too far but not too close when they see heroes like magnus, enigma, void etc
is the aoe the same in this rp compare to normal rp. still trying to find a good way to use this one not satisfied with puck dream coil and mars arena as people said. u can stun them with d-coil but its kind of clunky when u hit them one by one rather than hitting all together. in my pov this rp should use at the backlines to push them forward especially hg...

Situational play, its like why force staff is a thing. Maybe saving someone from 5 man gank while your team isn't around and your only choice is to run. It is definitely less useful for teamfight than normal rp since magnus can already push them anyway.
I was confused too about the function of the facet yesterday in my first demo hahaha, in this case, i think it will be better just make "alt+r" to do the reverse rp, no need to choose facet. They should think better facet that more usefull for the hero or teammate. There are still so many bad facet, still have to wait next patch for better balance gameplay.

This facet is just making u a tiny tide hunter ult and u can combine it stunning 5 heroes and pull only 1 carry to ur allies (bc maybe u dont want to rp the abadon/oracle with aeon disk/centauro late game etc
I dont see how can a reversed RP are going to useful in team fight. Maybe its only a beginning, since everyone still trying to figure it out, but really i cant see the purpose of the skill.
the Reverse Reverse Polarity have more area 600 this make the ult stun with more distance and the talent of 10 all stats with RRP make more easy to magnus take 5 heroes and gain more dmg, hp and atkspeed, 3*10*50*0.7= 105 more dmg, 50 atkspeed, 7 armor, 600 MP, 1000 HP for 16 seconds.
Yea isolate them, but u also isolate your target, cause most of the time medusa and bb are front and you targets are at the back. Plus rp+skewer could isolate medusa or bb
counter initiation especially def at highground magnus can just blink behind them and push the enemies on highground.. kinda op even it looks like a joke
I understood what exactly devs wanted to make with reversed RP - magnus can "hook" someone further and much better that pudge, but that combo is harder to perform than the standart RP. Plus this strategy doesn't work well with the whole enemy team and 1 little mistake turns everything into rubbish

I think if they reduce the CD on it, it can be fine. It would be used more for a pick off or counter initiation.
The only thing I think it will be good for is if a void misses his chrono....magnus pushes them into it

I think now you have to position yourself a little back of them so they will push them to your team mates also saves up your Skewer

Reading is hard.
To be fair, it wouldn't have changed much. Dude was a lone Magnus lvl 11. Even the enemy support was over leveled compared to him.
