I’m gonna be real honest, I’m not too much of a fan of how the game has turned out. The fetch quests are probably the most mundane part of the game, especially exo chips. I wish you could just craft every component needed, provided you researched it (how it used to be). A rework of the research system would have been ok, like you would have to find plants that had certain properties analogous to a tech that you could research. Or a tech tree. Just anything but a quest system.
Idea: Next time When letting someone make a TM 4 you, Tell them to write "sub 2 Blitz", Cross Out the "Blitz" and then write "Intern" over it (or in reverse)
The train makes the game 110% funnier but if you play with someone the game is 999% funnier 😆😆
Just so you know, that mission to glacio(snowpiercer) is named after a somewhat popular show of the same name. A pop culture reference! The movie is set on an entirely ice planet. It's pretty cool.
Snow piercer is in reference to like three things the snow piercer comics the snow piercer movie and the snow piercer TV show which is the best one out of the three
New missions have been added to the mid-game which send players down a path of logistics investigation and exploration. Travel to the icy wastes of Glacio, the mysterious caves of Calidor, and the whimsical depths of Sylva to learn about the importance of railways within EXO Dynamics. Along the way, players will discover new characters who have stumbled upon a mystery that may have greater ramifications for the overall mission of Astroneers.
Fun fact: there is also a show called Snow-Piercer on Netflix but it is also MA-15+
This update is going to be sick when I can finally play it.
Imagine this game dev + lego + minecraft, they would make such amazing franchise
It’s 2:30am but like blitz and intern with trains, sleep is insignificant compared to this

I’m a new player (like 3 hours on the game) and I’m looking at rails. Literally a minute and a half into the video and I’m blown away by the base and rover you guys have. I knew you could get big vehicles with drills and stuff but… damn.
fun fact u can put rail posts in auxillary slot and use it by pressing c or v depending which one
Does Blitz not care about using up tons of hydrazine? Just use the gateways! (Assuming that you have one near your base.)
Love the secret Starcraft line... "We must construct additional Pylons"...
