Half-Life is a 1998 first-person shooter game developed by Valve Corporation and published by Sierra Studios for Windows. It was Valve's debut product and the first game in the Half-Life series. The player assumes the role of Gordon Freeman, a scientist who must escape from the Black Mesa Research Facility after it is overrun by alien creatures following a disastrous scientific experiment. The gameplay consists of combat, exploration and puzzles.
Half-Life: Source is a direct port of the original Half-Life game to Half-Life 2’s Source engine, introducing graphics and AI improvements as well as some subtle level changes. It is available on Steam as part of three packs: Half-Life Complete, Valve Complete Pack and Half-Life 1: Source, the latter also includes Half-Life Deathmatch: Source.

i like most of the mods on here but a big thing that bugs me is replacing gordon's animations with barney's and adrian's because in hl1 gordon has tons of recoil and slower reloads to show he is not trained with guns while barney and adrian both have training so their animations reflect on that
@@coolsw4g huh that’s a strange way of thinking about it and tbh I kinda agree 🤷♂️ (the mp5 animation were completely broken though in the original sooo yeah…)

@@Lambdac0reYT Best part: You have the option to play on either normal or hard difficulty, easy mode isn't allowed and hard is when you truly want to experience the pain.
Valve could've just integrated the Fixed mod into Half-Life Source rather than put HLS at end-of-life support.
Needless to say, the end-of-life of HLS proves that an outdated software patching law funded by the ESA, SIIA and BSA isn't feasible for Valve for their unmaintained PC games.
