You dont need good armor, you can just use a iron sword by literally getting it from any skeleton spawner, and you can use leaves or any block to cover the golem leaving a hole to hit him through
bro just raid it like this first u need a good sword second u need 6-7 blocks and u need a bow First step build up till 6 block if u do 7 it prob wont reach the boss Second bow the boss so it wants to attack u Third just hit it with a sword
btw you can get in the middle tower (the one to the olmec idol) and from inside you can attack the golem
