The California high desert has many abandoned mines that are known to be used as body dumping grounds. I grew up in Barstow and the neighboring county in the valley, and having spent so much time there, I can definitely agree that weird stuff happens there.

I’m mystified by the lady in the story at about 1 hour and 40 min in. Like, she tells her daughter not to mess with things she doesn’t understand, the ouija board, and the proceeds to smash a mirror that she thinks is haunted. I’m pretty sure doing that releases whatever spirit is inside of it.

It sounds like an entity that is attaching to people and not to a place so moving may not see the end of the activity. If the person is serious, I can try to help.
Theda Holland it really does. I really like palo santo too. I always burn something lavender or rose after I sage too because I had a good friend of mine tell me about how sage clears the negative energy but leaves it neutral so if you burn lavender or rose it replaces the neutrality with positive energy which makes it even harder for the negative to weasel back in. It works for me! Come to think of it I’ve gotta do a cleanse here soon 😅😖

I'm the opposite. I can't get into the stories about people being people, I've already seen everything people can do, it's just not that interesting to me. I've always been a fan of fiction. I like the paranormal stuff better, I just go into it with an open mind, like anything is possible because honestly, as a species we really don't know much about anything yet, so who's to say for sure that none of it's real anyway? And even if it's something far fetched I can still put myself in the main characters shoes and imagine what it would be like to be in that situation. But that's just me.
I've seen other scary story you tubers group there stories so its easier to find what story I haven't head, it'd be nice if you tried it cause you're my favorite
