    So much gratitude is due to Eddin Khoo - he has managed to not only record so much of the vanishing traditions of ancient Malay culture - but has brought hope, help and a hand to keep the remaining practitioners frankly alive, as well as valued and given a way to pass their knowledge on to the future. One word jumped out at me - talking to these masters of their art - Eddin referred to the dignity and refinement of the Malay culture, and these qualities are what i feel has so often been lost by those in power over the last decades...May these cultural kings long ensure the true Malay semangat can be kept alive.

      Yes, kuda lumping is Javanese... there are many communities of Javanese descent who came to Malaysia since the 19th century, especially in Johor, and also parts of Selangor. They still practice the Kuda Kepang that their ancestors passed down to them.
