ISLAMIC NEW YEAR: CELEBRATION OR NOT?

Some Muslims mistakenly imitate non Muslims by celebrating the new Islamic Hijri year every year. This is an innovated act with no cogent evidence in Islam. No evidence is found in the Qur'an or Sunnah of our noble Prophet (peace be upon him), which approves of such action. This video stresses the importance of refraining from partaking in such an innovation. May Allah (Subhanau wa ta'ala) grant us all better understanding of Islam (Aameen).
