The poleaxe that skeleton had is the OG weapon of this level, honest to god. I once gave it to Derrin and he smacked pretty much anything that came his way. Overheads with it are tremendous, and you got reach for days.
Derrin is one of those "damned if he does, damned if he doesn't" type of sidekick. No matter what Batman does, Derrin is gonna get blamed for it. Batman gets in Derrin's way, Batman gets clocked, "Damn you Derrin!".. Derrin gives Batman space to fight, Batman gets clocked again "Damn you Derrin!!"
My first run of the update ended on the first floor when my friend Derrin chopped me in the brain with a long knife after i had just been wacked with an axe in the side. I went to bed and watched this so seems Derrin is cursed.
I'd really like to see an update to the inventory system to more easily see what I've got equipped, what the overall protection of a body part is and what layer an item covers. Really basic information in my opinion that shouldn't be kept from the player.
Isn't there an autosave like 15 minutes before that death? In my experience Derrin is a detriment, constant fear of splitting him in two and his own risk to you makes mind controlled zombies the obvious alternative to choose. Just hack right through them~
Maybe use those salves and stop blaming Derrin. 😉
Honestly has 3 healing jars and doesn't use them? Darrin is a hero he defended his unconscious body

Not sure if you just forgot but, theres a container in the last room to the right of the gate leading to the portal, sometimes spheres spawn there

it would be great if you could make a combat guide :) do's and don'ts, tips and tricks, leg movement etc
