Judge Diener specifically said he and his family were being threatened (one of the reason he recused himself). Now that i think about it, who threatened him? Why would the "public" threaten him so soon after the arrest? A perp that the entire world had been ready to see brought to justice? Diener hadn't made any major decisions on the case yet. I had thought that odd back then to think he had already received threats...

I’m a court clerk in Florida and we had Court TV film one of our trials. They were unintrusive. You didn’t even notice them once you work the trial. I think you are right, the prosecution does not want to be on the world stage perhaps because they are personally nervous ? Like camera shy? I don’t know. He acts like this would be the first time cameras are allowed in any courtroom nationwide.

@christielarocco2007 I agree. I'm sorry but their over obsessiveness at trying to keep everything from the public is really starting to make the public question their motives and if they are doing everything legally. Why are they so obsessed with hiding everything? I get the pre-trial stuff, but the actual trial should be allowed to have cameras in it. It's very suspicious that they are so against it. It makes them look like the guilty party with something to hide, while the defense wants it all out in the open for the public to see.

The prosecution, law enforcement brought the defense theory on themselves.
When Richard Allen was arrested, the prosecutor, law enforcement said there could be others involved, investigation is still on going.
This opened the door for the defense to claim others did it, not their client Richard Allen.
My opinion is the prosecutor, law enforcement F...... this up.
The state prosecutor, law enforcement have introduced reasonable doubt, they pretty much handled this theory to the defense on a silver platter.

Excellent analysis as usual. Although IMO the initial investigation by the police was clearly lost-at-sea, they bounced around clinging to various theories, showing different sketches, chased down many rabbit holes involving complicated theories, until one person said 'let's go back to basics' and he had the guy within days. What went wrong? The suspect worked in local CVS and the various police agencies must have been in and out of that place over the years; didn't they look at their own sketch? It reminds me of the Yorkshire Ripper investigation in the UK in the 1980s where police literally became submerged in their own investigation.

What the defense is doing has nothing to do with "sensationalism". Anyone who understands the law and the criminal justice system knows that a defense attorney must defend his/her client aggressively and with zeal until the bitter end. The burden of proof rests solely on the STATE to prove guilt beyond a "reasonable doubt". On the other hand, the defense does not have to prove that their client is innocent, or "not guilty". The defense achieves this by "poking holes" in the State's case...and by CREATING "reasonable doubt" in the State's case, by any means legally permissible, e.g., by introducing alternative scenarios, other possible suspects, etc., even if such alternative scenarios and other possible suspects are far-fetched and unsubstantiated. And that's exactly what the defense is doing in this case.
It all boils down to how gullible and naive...or intelligent and sophisticated...the individual jurors are. All the defense needs is just ONE juror to vote "not guilty" in order to reach a "hung jury", at which point the State must then decide whether or not to start from scratch and re-try the case. And let's face it...a lot of it depends on the forcefulness, salesmanship, and gamesmanship of the opposing parties involved.

In my opinion, Richard Allen led the girls down the hill, and there was someone else there waiting to murder them. Of course, Allen could have helped. I just pray for justice for Libby and Abby, and I hope it comes soon.

Good point about "down the hill" btw! The sides of the bank sloping around the bridge appear waaaay too steep to go down. They would to have had to go down the ridge a ways until it had a slope that was able to be hiked down wouldn't they? I've not seen any sleuths trying to locate the part of the Hill they went down to get to the river.

It kinda makes sense to me. This guy admitted he was there the Sametime the girls were. His statements he made when helping the police in a interview put him there. Then if he was walking in that area they not only can get a ping from his phone but the victims as well. That could put them in close proximity of eachother. There is alot more in this case then the police are giving out. After being a cop and Detective for over 20 years I believe they got him. I believe there are others outstanding but I'm sure once the trial comes out the police got him. Plus he hasn't made a huge deal about being innocent? Seems his Attorney's are putting up a fight over the evidence taken from his house. If it wasn't something good they wouldn't even fight it that hard. The police got good evidence out of that house. I'm totally comfortable with old allen being locked up for good.

If you look at from the point of view that previous to 2017, RA seemed to be lacking in direction in his life. From 2017 onward, he began the training and job which put him up a step in society (2018 CVS where he was in a position of high trust, and had access to people’s information and drug supply). You could see how someone like RA in or prior to 2017 would have been vulnerable to influence, and during/after 2017 appeared to have risen up.
It could be innocent, but the memory of Alex Cox is still fresh in my mind so it’s a reminder that circumstances can rise where outside influence is more likely to affect someone to commit horrendous things as a way to gain power within a group that has twisted the good messages within a religion toward their own deviant uses.
Because what we’ve been shown does seem ritualistic or symbolic.
Connected, could be lack of blood (or much less than expected). It’s possible the killers slit the girls throats and collected their blood in a bucket for later use (as horrible as that is to contemplate 😞).
I know it has been said the girls died on the 13th, but if you look up Feb 14th, it is related to the feast of Vali, which is related to positive things, but at its core is related to “rightful vengeance” and the story of Vali, son of Loki is actually about murder for revenge and is a gruesome scene involving two victims.
I think given this information, and the fact that the murder scene ‘appears’ symbolic/ritualistic/vengeful, it would be important to look at who in the girls circle could have been a target and … in 2017 Libby’s dad had just got out of jail for dealing in meth, and would have had contact with a number of nasty people who could have wanted revenge on him, or a gain in power for themselves for whatever reason.
I’m not saying that’s what happened, but all these things add up to a potential scenario of what happened.
Back to RA ….. If we can trust the forensics, either he was there at the scene, (and his bullet left there while intimidating the girls), or in a turn of extremely unfortunate events, he had been there in the past, and the bullet cycled through his gun and got dropped in the exact location, right between the two girls where they were found.
And his voice sounds a close match to bridge guy.
And he was there at that time and date.
And he was wearing the same clothes as bridge guy.
I think he was involved and all things considered, it doesn’t seem that likely he could just be being framed.
