A man randomly running in the background in cloud city, the ice cream man suddenly became a rebel hero. In Star Wars, you just can't be another extra who fills the frame, but you are one character who fills the galaxy.
Interestingly enough, FN-2199 (or TR-8R as everyone knows him as) actually is played by two guys. The one in the suit (Stuntman Liang Yang) and the guy who was dubbed over Yang (Sound Editor David Acord). They even got Acord back to voice him in LEGO The Force Awakens, which is pretty funny when you consider that he's only in the movie for like 60 seconds.
Because millions of shitty fans pretty much bullied him for no reason.. the jar jar hate is a joke gone way to far.. I’m happy I ignored it all and I actually love jar jar... I mean what would the phantom menace be with out him ???? He’s one of the best parts contrasting the characteristics of the Jedi... I’m telling you Jar Jar is a lord almighty.. way too underrated/overhated... love you jar jar xx
Kit Fisto is one of my favorites. He is very smiley and likes to have fun, but he can kick ass when he wants to. Plus, he's in a secret romance with Aayla Secura.
I like to pretend he didn't actually die, but was just gravely injured. While Mace takes on Palpatine, me sneaks away. Maybe he could have even gone to Felucia to help Aayla, then go crazy on Commander Bly and his men for killing his love. If they were able to retcon Shaak Ti back to life, anything is possible.

And the scene looks good and is one that ages the best to me.
Absolutely agreed. Ki-Adi-Mundi looks like a very old and wise man, that prefers thinking than doing. Plo Koon looks badass for a Jedi, sure is very good at technologies and transport. Sasae Tiin looks pretty interesting, is more looking like doing Jedi, not thinking. Kit Fisto is a positive Jedi, usually is listening, thinking and doing too. Shaak Ti, one of the few popular female Jedi (sure she's popular for dying)
I still feel so sorry for the actor playing Jar Jar, he was so excited to be in star wars and we the fans almost pushed him to commit suicide because of the hate towards his character.

What Ahmed Best was talking about is something the sequels really lacked, and I think it was an even bigger detriment than the whole "Rey is a Mary Sue" drama. The aliens in the sequels weren't original Star Wars species, they were just randomly-designed creatures that were essentially part of the set rather than part of the cast. I think the Mandalorian does this a whole lot better, and it's a big reason why its more well-received than the sequels.
Their are places like Central Casting where you can sign up, check for jobs, and call in for the next day. That's what I'm trying to do now. I've only ever done TV though.
