@@nicolapowell7730 oh thats a good point, i think it depends on the age of the kid but if they're anything below 10 it might be better to get a darker color, or alternatively get a white one thats surface sealed and easy to wipe stains and spills off of

Came here to say that. It's very cute, but it's not a good working chair. If the kid is expected to do homework/crafts at this desk, the chair must have a back support. This mushroom chair would be perfect next to a vanity table.

I don't remember the babies turning into demons in the ad... but it definitely felt dystopian and very, very creepy. I hope she changes the design or at least color of the plus signs so it doesn't so closely resemble the clothing line.
I was a foster kid in the 70's and 80's. This room is so much nicer than what I lived in. But, I am thrilled that some foster parents actually care about the kids!! Everyone pay attention and try to help your kids feel special, rather foster or biological 😊

I'm sure one will, that would probably be me XD, but it's just tape so it can easily be replaced. You could even get different colors and make it something the kids could get involved in it.
I would have used masking tape or electrical tape to outline the shape with paint and then let it dry. After that take it off to fill in each outlined shape with the paint. You would need a smaller brush for this but it is totally worth it so a kid can't easily remove it.

If she is fostering younger children, as you mentioned, the electrical tape crosses should not go all the way down. Young children are curious. They might try to take the tape off the wall and put it in their mouth.

Looks amazing! Though if they foster an older child a chair with good lumbar support is a must, for when they want to do some work at the desk. That being said the room looks awesome, keep up the good work!
Thank God she is fostering. I was a foster parent for 14 very damaged teen-agents. It was the most rewarding thing I ever did. I bless you for opening your heart ♥️ you won’t regret it. It’s not easy but easier than you can imagine. The child could be brought into a horse stable and be happy. Love is what keeps them and love is what makes them love you. Your room is very nice for them. I hope you let them have a wall that is just theirs. When I did that in their room I got to see their heart. I had a 15 yr old girl who wore fishnet hose and tacky boob showing tops. But she loved design and she put hats up in her space. They had flowers and feathers on them. When she turned 16 there was a hat shop that they gave her a chance to sell and decorate. She turned a 90% she found a passion and dressed actually elegant. I would never had known her if I didn’t give her personal wall space. Just an idea for you. God bless your endeavor.

In my state you have to be a certain age to be able to foster and I just recently reached that age so hopefully I can start fostering next year.
