    I just finished up watching all of your tutorial videos on this aircraft. I can't say thank you enough for them. They were all concise and easy to follow. I will continue to refer back to them as I learn this aircraft more and more. Thank you again for making these as now I have the confidence to actually do some flights with this after I bought it. Liked and subscribed for sure!

    Thanks for the informative video! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve restarted the flight because of a messed up flight plan - that tip is super useful!

    That tip where you check your fp with the lower ND is a great tip. The tip on how to fix your route with the discon and how to clear the whole route was a great tip as well. You got a new subscriber.

    Thanks for the tip about the Diamonds for Loc and GS. Sometimes my plane doesn’t follow the GS and I wonder this can be my mistake. Great video!

    Thanks a lot once again.
    I watched one of your videos that is very useful calculating your VRef, however, when I go to FORECAST, and once received, I LOAD and it gives me "datalink configuration error" and I do not get any winds...note I am new to Boeing, I am a Airbus pilot and now learning the 737-8. Thanks a lot. Cheers

      I believe you have to load the winds on the ground first before getting underway, and then when you load them before the descent it should work.

    NIce job Mark. I am under the assumption this is a PMDG 737, but watching the video I couldn't figure it out. Been flying PMDG 737s in FSX for about 6 years without a hitch. What I can't figure it out is the control assignments in MSFS with X56 AND being able to choose the desired configuration in control options. I must have watched 30 videos. No one covers these topics. Any help in these areas would be appreciated. Thanks

      Thanks Jake, it's actually the 738. Which controls are you trying to bind? Many of them can't be bound directly unless you use a 3rd party app like spadnext, which is what I would recommend.

      @@FlightSimSchool. Wow!! I didn't know I would have to jump through so many hoops just to have a seamless simulator! You have no idea what I have been through thus far- 1) Slow internet, took 49 hrs to initially download, 2) update needed and Steam forced me to download-AGAIN! Couldn't take it anymore. Changed communications companies where I get up to 350 Mbps instead of 7Mbps. Speeding forward, 3 installs and 2 PMDG installs later I still can't program Trigger, buttons 3,5 and Pinkie on X56. I had NONE of these problems in FSX going all the way back when Bruce Artwick started FS in 1982! But I get it, the scenery is more important than actually flying an accurate product. But I am a commercial pilot junkie! I just knew it would be an awesome experience. And at 73 I would like to spend more time flying than tinkering around with a pink elephant that won't eat the grass I feed it! So, whose this 3rd party?....

      @@jakegreene5382flight simming is definitely a hobby where you have to be ready to tinker and try stuff out to get it how you want!

    Just a question but can you quick start it buy clicking 2 buttons on your controller like on other planes in msfs?

    • @FlightSimSchool
      @FlightSimSchool  Год назад +1

      Yes, although it’s more like four clicks. There are panel states you can load to change the plane’s configuration, such as setting it ready for takeoff. My quick start tutorial covers that ruclips.net/video/a7sZUfqTMag/видео.htmlsi=w_PplSiYZJE1Vpz8

    How do you speed it up during flight in cruise mode? It's like NOW it takes me forever to do a 2hr flight. My speeds will go from 300. Then, as I reach my cruising altitude, it'll slowly drop back to like 225. Which will turn a 2hr flight to a 3-4hr flight or a 4hr flight will turn into a 8-10 hr flight. Am I doing something wrong, or is it just a glitch?

    • @FlightSimSchool
      @FlightSimSchool  12 дней назад +1

      That’s normal because indicated airspeed drops as you climb higher. You have to look at your Mach number at cruise, it’s in the bottom left of the pfd, for the 737 usually it’s around .74 mach

    My com radio is now going up and down in 25s instead 5s? Example 120.30 then 120.55? Why can't I tune to 120.35 anymore? Any ideas? Thanks.

    • @FlightSimSchool
      @FlightSimSchool  8 месяцев назад +1

      There is a setting in the FMC if you go into PMDG Setup, that you can change the frequency spacing. Not sure why it changed on you but it's in there somewhere if you dig around for it

    • @jayrermars8493

      @@FlightSimSchool Ok many thanks for your help..I did have a good look through the fmc settings earlier and couldn't find anything about the radio spacing. Instead I just restarted the sim and it's back to normal. I've no idea why it changed either as been fine for plenty of flights so far??

    • @FlightSimSchool

      Maybe it was just a bug then!
