Interesting - on the American Price is Right, the Clock Game was revamped for the first time.....the original 1972 Clock Game prop was finally retired in October 2014.....the new Clock Game prop looks like a large stopwatch with the same concept as the water wheel at 4:41 ....and during the showcase...a Niagara massage chair?! They would give those away in 1975 in the States, too. Nice to see a company make it through these years!
Well the showcase is hard when I watched this in my 20's at the time of mega and monster it was hard but I love watching tpir old school well I can't remember watching half of these there were so many to watch and all the nutters Larry had to endure everyday in a good way!!!!
in some ways I think the Australian version of The Price is Right is even a little better, I have always liked the announcer, he's been a mainstay of Australian TV for years and has a great voice for announcing and the format is tweaked a bit to be a bit more lively and interesting.
His voice is great for a show like Price for sure, but he drives me BATSHIT with the constant "come on (insert name here" when calling names in the intros. He does it for literally every contestant. It's unnecessary to me, like....stopppppp lol.
HI there, I was on this show in 2005 and am trying to find the episode with me on it. If you have an episode with a rather confused looking scottish guy, I'd love to hear from you
I love their Range Game. If you tried the Monster Showcase ranking and "want to quit?" stuff with hysterical American contestants, Bob Barker would have thrown a fit some times over the waiting and indecision.
Do you possibly have any episodes from the celebrity week they did that year. I remember John Burgess, Ian Turpie and Glenn Ridge (i think) all making cameos at some point. Also, its nice to see an Australian Price is Right episode that doesn't re-use the same 15 seconds of music over and over again, and one that actually has a decent prize budget......
The Ian Turpie clip on the price is right celebrity week in 2005 used to be on RUclips on the original gameshowaus channel the contestant name is sharyn the game is the grocery game for a car worth $47,000 which they won but the channel got terminated.
From the US and I love this version’s theme. I wish there was a clear copy!

It’s not the extended intro but the theme is the same.
I could make one if you want... using MVSep.
amazing... last time I probably watched this show was around maybe early 2005 of all years.
seems actually forever ago now.

Looking at strangers sharing kisses left right and Center ,
I miss them times 😞
If my theory is right, The Price is Right is @ Australia. even around the world.
Good job, does anyone have any more episodes from the Ian Turpie era please?
Lord i miss analog tv
Larry actually appeared on the American version once with Drew Carey. Drew even let him host one of the pricing games, in this case Cliffhangers.
I wish I could find that on RUclips :-D
It's probably still on the RUclips page for the American show.
@@pgmeagle3026 You might already have watched this because the comment is 3 years old, but I think this is the clip.

Thanks - I knew I got that wrong!
I like the U.S. and the international versions of TPIR!!!
41:04 They made the right decision! Rare to see someone take the cash buyout in the Showcase round here...

Trying to find my mums episode! It was in 2005 and she won a green couch
2005, that's when it was axed :)
TheTvGuru3 It was axed because Deal or No Deal with Andrew O'Keefe on Channel 7 had more views than this show.
That announcer sounded like Rod Roddy with his "COME ON DOWN!"

If I was the host of the price and had Larry and Andrew & If Larry had the exact bid, I would be like. "You're moving on to play for The LOT!"
