  • People are constantly finding new causes to rally behind, but we can't change society then expect people to get better. In fact, Jesus claimed the opposite-people must change before society can get better-and He demonstrated that by loving the unlovable and caring for the rejected. Pastor Nate Heitzig challenges us to be part of the uprising of love as he explains what that means and how we can live it out.

    Changed hearts change society." I too believe this is the most optimal way to do ministry. I told a man this over 30 years ago when he was giving me a hard time about not being proactive in the anti-apartheid movement. I think it's noteworthy to point out that even though Jesus spoke to the social ills of his time, he never involved himself in their activism.
