You can get ceramic bearing washers to replace those brass washers on ebay.
Just got this knife for 37$ Amazon. Back spaced screws on mine must have some serious locktite can’t get em to thread out, they just turn. Only one came out.
Woo-hoo! Love that backspacer! It sort of the baseball card (everybody I knew always used those stupid checklists) in the back wheel spokes of this knife.
Price point can't beat it if you like the design thank you for sharing 👊
I was going to buy one and make my own finger choil like the cut Jack and add a thumbstud to open it but the stop pin track in the FRN might prevent my plans of this.
I am glad to steel will is listening to their customer and are not overloading the pivot screw as the did on the cutjack.
Nice vid-great job!
Good video, thanks. Zel what's a good lube for rust prevention especially like d2 that won't break the bank? Thanks Harry
Harry Wright
Frog lube, I use a very thin layer.
I agree with Paul, I use Ballistol, works great on my firearms and great on the knives as well, cheap, because I already have a couple bottles.
If you want something that’s foodsafe mineral oil might work
Well there you go, now I don't have to take mine apart to see what's inside.
Wouldn't it need oil on the pivot pin too?
I don't usually oil the Pivot tube itself, there's plenty of lube in the area from the bearings to work itself around and I don't want it to become a sticky mess in there....
thanks for watching and have a great day!
How strong is the lock?
jbogg6 it’s good I’ve used it for a few months and it hasn’t failed yet.
The guy doesn't know how to take it apart, all he needed to do is use a screw driver and lightly ply the side plate and it will come out, no need to loosen the screws on the other side.
Got to be joking, putting stuff to lock the screws!! Just tighten a little and it's all good. Also, a lot of the video is out of focus. This got to be the worst demo video I've seen.
He literally said he didn’t want to pry it. Your grammatical errors are the worst representation of the English language I’ve seen on this comment section.
