Most of you don't get that this isn't an operatic show, sure it has a bit of that, but you can't judge with the measure used in full opera. For me it's fain because I don't have a very big sense in my ears. The closest thing to an opera is the Beauty & the Beat DVD. That high note isn't signed all that often and I believe as a non-expert, not like every expert bragging around here, that firstly that note isn't meant to be sung for long and secondly you can't expect perfection out of it, even though she reaches it. So, you want opera go to opera, but if don't, don't expect 100% precision. I've been listening to Tarja for a while now and I know that her voice can be moody to say so, which I do like about her. We do work with what we have, not with what we would like to have.
Looks like people is way too used to the Live DVD version of this one, by Tarja and Marko. Tarja hit all notes how she is supposed to. If the last note sounded a bit more piercing it's because this is a cellphone recording, not a studio-mixed video. That note has always been hard to hit and she is still does it without much issue, although she needs to push herself a bit to fully achieve it. I didn't like Pentti's delivery, not because his singing is bad or anything, but he's not in character.

It just didn't feel right. And nobody is talking here about the vocalist of her former band. So do not replay about Floor here.
