with your name , no body can tell you have Gambia link bro? my name is Lamin Janneh are typical Sierra Leonean from the North, I only know that there are Gambian with the same surname when i went on peacekeeping in Darfur, Sudan between 2010 -2012 and met one with the same surname. i was really shocked
@@LamJay-n4y That’s your problem and don’t need validation from anyone to believe it or not. I am sarahule/maraka and I speak it. I was born here and that’s why my Daramy is spelt this way instead of Drammeh the Gambian way. So what the hell do you have to comment about something you don’t know of
Bro this is good work. It reminds me of the hadith where the prophet Muhammad (SAW) explained. If eveyone human, from the first to the last were to gather in one place and ask Allah for everything they ever wanted and Allah grants everyone everything they ever wanted, it would not reduce from what Allah has more than what a needle displaces when it is deeped in the ocean and removed.
We always tell Gambia people that many Gambia are in sierra leone mining diamond 💎 .get Rich and develop there country only sierra leone give others Africa people this opportunity
What about Liberia? I am also a Gambian here in Liberia but I think we have more virgin grounds here than Sierra Leone only that we are not that well known. Whenever I see our boys dying in the Sahara or Mediterranean because of Europe I just wonder whether they don't know all the mineral riches hidden here in West Africa!😊
Wow, you just keep on giving us banger after banger! Africa is abundant and plentiful. Youths don’t need to leave Africa, they have been blessed in so many ways. If Burkina Faso can turn things around then so can every other African country. These corrupt governments need to go💯
Africa need more young men like this, I lived in Ghana for 3 yrs and I was always encouraging local people to love themselves and their country, and that the West can't answer all their problems. If only I had discovered this channel earlier I could have directed them towards it, to help them expand their view of the continent and themselves. This young man is truly a blessing.
Gambians, Senegalese, came to smuggle emerald gem stones in my country in ''South Central Africa'' back in the 80's and we deported all of them back to West Africa, now they are trekking on foot through the Sahara desert to go to Europe and hassle there
WTH are you generalizing like that? So all Gambians and Senegalese came there, full of it you are 😞 I don’t even know who would want to go to Central Africa
Another EXCELLENT video. This one hits different as I used to live in Koidu many decades ago straight out of secondary school from Freetown. As a young man with no responsibilities at the time I dabbled in diamond mining as a side hustle. It was a lot of fun. Hopefully I may run into your invisible host to pick his brain. Thanks for this my brother.
@Gano give us some tips, bro 😂 Honestly, I was planning another rough and dangerous road but this Sierra Leon mining it's something else I can try my luck there. Thanks for the video
Going through this documentary, reminded me of the kind of agony our people are passing through. Please go back there and do more research, meet the indigenous people of the land, asking questions they will tell you the dangers of staying in that land. You just visited the few that are being fortunate in the land. It's a pity for my fellow citizens of the land being excited about what they see online. I always ask people the question, why people escalate the little good and hide the truth of the big dangers? My brother go back to kono and do another documentary on the lives of the people, even those in the mining areas and come back to prove me right or wrong.
It seems the people don't know the worth of the gold in Africa. Gold is now at record highs and 1 gram of gold is worth $75 USD. Yet they sell the gram of gold for maybe $1 and consider themselves lucky. Knowledge is power. They estimate the value of minerals in the Democratic Republic of the Congo is worth $24 trillion USD. There is no reason for anyone in Africa to be poor. The modern world would shut down without the minerals from Africa. In Botswana De Beers gives 30% of the diamonds to the country. With good government it is a win-win situation and everyone benefits.
Woww this is just another phenomenal video. However, I also think, government need to take up the space to create more employment opportunities for the people of Sierra Leone because most people in that country have lost hope just like many African countries. By the way I will relocate to Sierra Leone if this man ( your sponsorer ) hire me as a family nurse.
Wow, our people to lead to wake up and realize what they have. But it's painful to see people from other parts of the world really getting the lion's share.❤
God bless you brother wish you freedom from any devil countries who destroyed and stolen the goodness of Africa in the past inshallah all Africa will be free and they can enjoy the wealth that they have in their land.
If the small scale miners are local and consider themselves "the owners of the land", do they receive money from the foreign mining companies for mining on their land? The gold and diamonds are FINITE, therefore it should be managed prudently. . I have never heard of gold or diamonds being referred to as INFINITE resources. One day they will run out and Sierra Leone had best make the best use of them whilst it remains or it will have to join the beggars of this world.

The extraction looks primitive really, with little care for environmental damage and workers safety.Where are the proper machineries?
