- Always felt the Mazda 3 was lacking in power, so I decided to actually get some footage of it and share it.
2006 Mazda 3 2.3L with SRS exhaust and AEM CAI.

Honestly I was about to be upset, have driven a shitbox with 80hp, this seems like it had 25hp with super close ratios. But good shit, ya got me half way lol
Is your speedometer gauge not working right? it showed you took like 20 years to get to 20 mph on one of those clips

Speedo has to be wrong I have a 3 2.0 2007 with a muffler delete and get from 100 kph to 140 in about 5-6 seconds usually I'd get that looked at man
Love my little NonSpeed 3. Great and fun little daily driver but definitely gutless lol. Having to decide to just build it for show and deal with the want of a Speed3 for power since i do love the look of the Gen-1 body, or just leave it stock other than wheels and some new suspension bits to help the overall drive.
Coilovers and exhaust for sure! I love my 3 so much. Stereo is really the only other thing I'd suggest.

This is definitely not a speed I go 0-60 in 5.5 secs this guy has A. Mazda 3 sport or B. Major problems with his vehicle. 265 horsepower and 280 pounds of torque something is up with his car

Ian Muschamp Hey man! So as long as you get the 5DR hatchback version you’ll be set, as it’s a bit longer I believe. I have no issues with the bumper melting or soot collecting on it. Everything is perfect!

U speedometer have issues bro. I have 2009 Mazda 3 2.0 and i get 0-100 in 7.x seconds.

I was going to say that you were going awfully slow for the sound of the revs. Had me really confused because my Chevy Sonic 1.4t accelerates faster than that.

I think your speedometer is a little wonky man, my Mazda3 hits 45-60 by 3rd gear depending on how hard I’m hitting it. I have an 08’ Mazda3 2.3L s Sport Hatch. I see others commenting about it but I think they might be right, 3rd gear is an easy 45-60 mph range. Beautiful set up though man, love the car !

Even my CX-7 GT when it was stock [circa 2007-2009] was as fast as the 2.5L M3
Now it’s faster than the Jetta GLI (2.0T) and all similar VW (seats, Audi, etc 😂)

its probably your wheel size which isnt to spec for your spedoguage
This isn’t a Speed3, you hear no turbo and the speedometer is only up to 140 😂
