I got this same machine at Goodwill right after the Covid lockdown ended and the store openned back up. So glad I did,. It is still my perferred way to have bread. I don't have to heat up the whole house using the regular oven in my stove and it is very inexpensive to make a loaf of bread when I need it. I couldn't believe that it cost me less than $10. What a blessing. Your video is very well done and I so appreciate the time you took to share this fix. God bless you.
Thank you for your video. I was having the same issue, and your video was the only helpful one I came across. I feel like I took out more screws than you did for the plate to come loose 😂. Also, thank goodness for screwdrivers with magnetic tips. Felt like I was playing the game of Operation trying to take the back screws out without dropping them. I also didn't remove the heating element wires or unhook the ribbon cable-- mainly because I didn't feel comfortable enough to remove them without thinking I was going to break them. So I left them all connected, and was able to work around that, thankfully. But your solution seemed to have resolved my issue with the kneading arm. So far so good! 🤞
Thanks for posting! Same issue with mine. I laughed out loud (cried inside a bit) when you dropped the screws inside. I can't believe there's not a bottom access panel underneath! Looks like a big pain... I might just drill a hole for access to the nut -- she' way out of warranty anyways ;)
Please please tell me how to remove the top of this bread maker. Mine doesn’t do amy thing and I hear something loose inside but can’t figure out how to remove the top.
Hi! Thanks for the video! I'd really appreciate your help with specific issue. I have a Cuisinart Breadmaker CBK-200C. Had an electric problem and part of the electric board was damaged. I resolved almost everything except the element marked as L3 on its electric board. Would you, please, tell me which element is that- L3? Coil? And what are its specifications? If needed I can send a pic of the element I refer to. So I can find the same one and replace it on the board. Thank you very much upfront!
Thanks for your video. Very helpful in case that happens to me too. I broke my cover window and I had to take the cover off to replace the little piece of glass used for the window. Somehow I have misplaced the screws used to hold in place the cover and believe it or not I can't figure out how to attach the cover back. Can you please take a picture of the screws located on the back of the cover so I can have an idea what type of screws I need to look for or even better could you please take a short video on how the cover is attached to the machine and what screws are used for. Thanks so much in advance.
Take the back plate off of the bottom. Should be 7 screws (3 screws and 4 footing screws). Two of the footing screws are special tamper-proof screws. You can futz with it using a couple of flat blades wedged in. It's much easier access that way rather than taking the whole thing apart.
I appreciate your video. I have a Cuisinart CBK 200 which is very similar to yours. I am trying to take apart my machine and cant figure out how to remove the cobtrol panel since the scrrews are on the inside. How does one remove the top part of the control panel. Can you help? Thanks
I honestly don't remember off the top of my head, I made this video 4yrs ago. I'm camping this weekend too, but I may be able to let you know on Monday. Maybe I can make another video to go with this one. Sorry I can't help tonight.

Awesome! That's the only reason I shared, to help others with the same silly problem.

You'd have to contact Cuisinart about that component. But in electronics L indicates inductors, so it is most likely some sort of inductor
@@andrew_gardner Thank you for fast response!
I had the same problem, wheel fell off when I raised the bottom. Thanks!! I put a lock washer on it. .

Sorry, i didn't see this comment earlier. Hope you figured it out.
@@andrew_gardner No I have not figured it out, If you might havethe time to show how to remove the control panel that would help me a lot. Thanks
@@2320MountainDr are you actually wanting to fix a faulty control panel part, or are you just taking it apart from top down?
Did you ever figure out how to remove the control panel. Taken the single screw out but everything seems fixed in. Thanks.
@@andrew_gardner Also trying to remove the control panel. Removed the single visible screw but the panel will not lift out. What's the trick? Thanks

Is anyone having a problem with the crust being too hard?
It doesn’t have any exposed screws any where.
