How does that make sense when this move is clearly for the post LeBron era? Luka is 25 and they’re the biggest market in the league and it’s not close. U genuinely dont think they could put a competent roster around him? 😭
@ Luka is a bad behavior problem. He loves LeBron and might take tough advice from him. And I think LeBron himself wants to eliminate the fatigue from all that ball handling.
3 not great 1st picks is better return than Davis, Christie, and 1 1st? If Davis was traded for just draft picks what would he have gone for 2? No way, thats a ridiculous take.
In the context of how good Luka doncic is compared to dearon fox and where the kings also have significantly less leverage…yes that’s a better return that what Dallas received. Idk how that’s hard to comprehend

Mavs didn’t even get both firsts from LA and on top of that the moment u include LUKA DONCIC in that trade the value of that 2029 frp dramatically depletes. Not saying either trade is very good for either team getting off of their stars but even in that context (which seems pointless lol) how is it not “greater”. But also this take was 100% factoring in that context I mentioned
