Sir, u r god, for being the most patient husband award, so much discipline and peak zen and calmness, u r teaching off road driving, but I am learning how to drive my marriage :D
Very well explained. I have done many 4X4 stunts but wasn’t aware of this difference in LSD and TRC. Am not sure if it’s a Toyotas thing only but it’s a life saver. Really liked the content
Thanks a lot @DeepakVarshney86 for the lovely feedback and motivating me to push more content of offroad academy. TRC and LSD are standard terms however not all 4x4 offer all features. e.g Mahindra Thar calls TRC as Electronic Brake Assist and Auto LSD is not offered in Thar.
Hi @ZingThing It depends how frequent and to what extent you do off-roading or you are just looking for enhancing the looks of your vehicle. I have been using stock HT, done 8K which includes sand and snow - black ice . No issues so far. Though at times in sand I felt little bit loose of traction but I could have deflated the tyres. If you think this thought of changing tyres will keep on coming then better do when they are new as for new ones u will get an exchange price of around 12-13K per tyre.
@@myhimalayandrives thanks for taking time and answering, Im not too keen on changing looks, if stock tyres can help me sail through sand and snow, im ok.
@ZingThing I wanted to provide you an update on this thread. Our stock H/T tyres are good for sand and snow but they are not at all good for rocky terrain. On my recent trip to Sach Pass, a stone kissed the sidewall and the complete sidewall cracked , wasting the tyre. These H/Ts have a very poor side wall. Thought of updating you as it can be useful to you if you are doing offroading in rocky terrains.
@@myhimalayandrives Thanks, i really appreciate your update, I did the Spiti valley at the same time as yourr recent trip, infact i saw ur car near Atal tunnel eateries. I was quite lucky i faced no issues in that trip. we did the entire sector. there were some rocky part too but nothing too extreme, so we were good.
@@ZingThingi will advice you brother to get an AT tyre, 275/60/18 yoko or 285/60/18 from MICHELIN LTX, YOKO GEO, BFG, MAXXIS get them asap, tyres are like shoes ,you want good shoes right, the day i changed my tyres, enhanced confidence
Thankyou Kyoki mare jaise bahotse ladko ke pass 4X4 hai pr use karne nahi aata aap achhe se sikha rahe ho pr bahot se log samaj nahi pa rahe so thankyou very much sir
