I must admit, i discovered Evile on accident listening to a mix of thrash in my garage when Cult came on and i had to play it on repeat for 3 or 4 times because it jammed. Fell in love with matts voice, then i listened to this song and was, not disappointed, but missing Matt. After listening to this song at least 10 more times, and the entire album the same amount i must say it grew on me and i love it. Can't wait to hear them live

Exactly my thoughts about having a hint of Matt in there too! I think he's done a good job to give his own fresh take on the vocals, but whilst keeping the overall delivery of them in the traditional "Evile" style that people know.
I'm kicking myself in the ass for being 2 months behind the ball on this one. I was listening to Evile yesterday and wondered if they'd put out anything new since last I looked. I'm not going to lie just seeing the title of the song made me say "Oh, Fuck yes!" Outloud. I saw these guys years ago open for Kreator back when Mike Alexander was still alive. I had no clue who they were but I was instantly a fan and after listening to this I can say from then to now I've not been disappointed once. These guys never fail to blow me away.
I can't help to miss Matt's vocals. However, Ol' has surprised me a lot and for good. It has been a long waiting for hearing some new Evile song. Welcome back, guys! PS. If someday, Matt and the rest of the band decides to get path together again, it'd be awesome to see and hear the band with two distinctives vocalists.

Hands down the best Thrash band of the NEW wave, as well as the best solo guitarist, talented and original (no other current Thrash guitarist has been called upon by Destruction to replace Mike Sifringer on the 6 strings) OL Drake is a beast at composing and playing. Evile is the definition of current Thrash Metal.

I think the reason their vocals sound so similar is because they’re brothers lol. A lot of siblings have similar sounding voices.
I think its all how you train your vocals, Matt's voice was more harmonic and melodic sounding while Ol's voice has more of a growly sound.
I'm really glad new bands also sound so good. Who needs to be a nostalgic when you got more new bands making great music. :)
