Hey I'm a detailer and am polishing an Airstream do you sand prior to polishing and also we're do you find your polishing drum for the drum polisher thanks
Hello friend, I need help!!! I am polishing a 1968 airstream and have the Sct tool. But what I need to know is what grit of a drum are you using???? Please help!
The clear was already removed when we bought it. I have heard the citristripper works well. I will be polishing one next month and will be stripping the clear.
Great demonstration, but you have to tone down the music volume. I have to have my speakers cranked while you're talking, and then my ear drums blow when the music kicks in.
Love your videos but can’t stand the loud music at the beginning and in between your speaking parts. It’s shocking to my system. I just turn off the sound and then miss what you are saying.
I always enjoy your videos, Ian! A wealth of useful knowledge. If anyone out there is going to polish an Airstream you will most likely have clear coat that needs to be removed. Check out my comparison for the best paint remover to take the clear coat off: ruclips.net/video/0gyeSqV_Hts/видео.html
Nice demo Ian. The SCT is similar to my buff pro in the way how pads clog up. I have two pads now for each polishing session. I have a few areas with loads of scratches so im using special aluminium air sanding discs with kangaroo oil. They are too deep for cross cutting but most of it I can cross cut. Keep up the great work :-)

Man! That looks so awesome, WOW! Hurry up and finish that one so I can move mine into your driveway...not kidding!
Haha, I know you aren't kidding! Working on it, hopefully gone by July.
I'm Korean and I run a buffing factory. What kind of product is this? Can you tell me the name of the product?
Zephyr Polishes, just search them, they have everything.
do you have the next stage? the buffing side? do you use another polish other then tripoli?
Did you remove the plasticoat before you started the rough cut? If you did do so, may I ask how you did it?

Can you tell me what the product in front of the machine is for caravan buffing in the video?
Eastwood Contour SCT and a Dewalt 3600 rpm variable speed buffer with Airway wheels from Zephyr.
Is there a clear coat on your trailer?
No, it was already removed when I purchased the trailer. I forgot to mention that.

Thanks! Sorry, I will work on that. Audio isn't my strong point in editing.
Is the compound you are using for this step a trade secret?
Someone asked me on Facebook what polish I am using, at 4:55 I say I am using Eastwood's Brown Tripoli Rogue.
