Beautiful make Tami, I can not wait to use this Idea whit Christmas stamps. Hopefully Tim and stampers anonymous have created the same stamps but then whit Christmas images 😃 Thank you for sharing Greets Simone
I just LOVE what you did with this cute set Tami! Pairing these sweet images with the fab Etcetera tiles and using the frame too, inspired! I so love the way you talk through your process Tami, even second guessing whether you ought to use the black texture paste, which I think came out AMAZING! It's awesome to get a sneak peek into your creative process. Honestly, you've made some incredible makes, and these past few weekends, I have so enjoyed seeing Tim reveal them with each different release. You are amazing! xoxo
OH! Wow double whammy. I just left your tutorial you made 8hrs ago. I love your tutorials. You have a new subscriber. Thank you so much for the shares. I love Halloween.
Thanks so much for another great project. How clever to use the ‘throw away’ frame to keep this tiles together. The black texture paste really did tie it all together. ✌🏼♥️
Thank you for sharing your make! I love this. The tiles without distressing looked really good, but the distressing added that extra bit of wow. Thanks for sharing all the ingredients. I also wondered how you colored the images, they really pop. Great piece!
Thank you so much for sharing this, I loved it when I saw it during Tim's live. My granddaughter is coming to visit next weekend and wants to make "Halloween stuff", this project will be perfect for her.
This is adorable. Thank you for sharing. I'm curious why you didn't use the stains directly on the Etcetera tag. Is that because the stains and water don't move as well on that substrate?
Hi Jodie, great question. The background color behind things really affects the outcome. So the Kraft colored base would have resulted in a much more muted, darker background because the stains are somewhat transluscent. I wanted something bright and true to the colors. If you swatch the stains on different papers, watercolor, mixed media, kraft, and black, you will see the difference. So covering with paper was the easiest for me. Hope that makes sense.
Metal like the gates, glass, and acrylic like the tombstones I usually distress with one of the grit pastes depending on the extended look. I pounce on a layer with my finger and then once dry I try and decide if I need more. Then add a second or third layer if needed. Then depending on what look I’m going for I add color for dirt or rust or moss with Distress Crayons. Or sometimes I paint the piece and then add the crayons. Again it depends on the look I’m trying to achieve.
Another fantastic art project,,,,,, thank you again. Like they say, "if you build it, they will come"...............
Thank you for the great tutorial on your adorable make! Dolly 😁😁💕
That turned out beautiful. The stars all around fit the work perfectly. Thank you for explaining each step, Tami ☺️

I have a question on another matter. How do you distress metal, like tombstones? I still have trouble what products to use for what.
