    I liked the one that my boss got for me at work that I bought one for my house! Worked for old hard kitchen grease, grout, tile base boards, walls, you name it! No chemicals...distilled water only! I paid $119.00 + tax. Every home should have one!

  • @racerguy500

    I have the same one. And yes, use only distilled water in it. Mine plugged up after about 6 months and had to clean it out. It works amazingly well. Start the spray before you apply it to the area as it shoots the water out of the nozzle before the steam gets there. I've had it well over a year and used it on everything except my Durango interior that I bought it for. Catch them on sale and with a 20 percent off coupon and you can't beat the deal.

    I don't know how well yours held up but I had to exchange for another one twice. I think 6 months was the longest one lasted. I ended up moving to the Dupray line of steam cleaners, and they kick ass. I first got the Neat which lasted 5 years even though I abused the heck out of it. Now, I have the Home. The pressure is better in the Duprays and they get a lot hotter than the Central Machinery.

    It’s pretty efficient. I picked one up and did two cars. Have to be careful with cars with certain interior trims did one door on a Prius that has plastic and leather the leather wrinkled up so have to keep the steam away from it almost as it’s cardboard backing . I also did a Chevy Colorado and that has almost like a painted shiny plastic near the cupholders and I fogged up the finish.

    what the PSI on this unit ?

    • @xy4489
      @xy4489 2 года назад

      The spec for steam cleaners in $200+ range start 48psi. The cheaper ones like this one here don't even have it spec'ed. The $600+ ones like Brio Plus 400CC Steam Cleaner are 72psi. The commercial ones around 125psi.

      I purchased ones for $300 on Amazon return them because the harbor freight one has more steam and a temperature is above 200 and the other ones on the thermometer showed 140 160 Fahrenheit

    DO NOT BUY! If your lucky you'll get one that actual works. Bought one yesterday and with in the 1st 10mins the handle got so hot it about blistered my hand. 2nd some attachments do not fit correctly 3rd you lose more steam through the handle which causes it to lose pressure and steam. Lastly water leaks all out the bottom of the handle as well. After this I looked up reviews and this is a common problem. My opinion better off buying the McMullan 1270 or 1275 they're they're same price but is a way better piece of equipment. Again my opinion and experience with this harbor freight steam cleaner I give it 1 star
