Just recently discovered your channel. Your eyes look like you can play horror movies 🎬 🤭... Now in all seriousness, the trumpet has so many colors palate you can create with it in terms of sound approach. Is there a possibility that you can try to imitate your favorite player's sound while you should be sounding like someone else due to your embouchure, jaw, setup, teeth, etc...??? For example, I might want to sound like Lee Morgan while my embouchure type is more suited to a big fat type sound like Arturo. Am I making sense?🤔

Of course our physicality has some influence over the way we sound, but eventually that's mostly a thing that happens inside your mind.
You mentioned Arturo who is a great example, he can be a hard-bopper, a latin screamer, or a classical soloist at will, depending on the way he wants to paint with the trumpet that day.
He will always sound like Arturo doing all of that, because 'you always sound like you', but he will also be perceived as authentic by the listeners in each style, with a matching characteristic sound of the horn for each genre.
As for my eyes, I'm not taking any acting jobs at the moment :)
But seriously, that's a different story that has very much to do with trumpet playing, stay tuned for a future video on the topic.
