Well for starters, the dude has two guard breaks that sort of don’t hit. One of them is a combo starter, while the other one is a ranged guard break with a slow start up. The combo starter one has arguably small range so they have to be walking into you; Heisei players don’t usually capitalize off the combos because it is usually the first Kaiju they get and it’s hard to lab combos out in this game because there are no dummies that allow for training. Most Heisei players will throw out moves that they think work and end up using that fourth move, thus a majority of the experienced players end up walking behind them and capitalizing on that slow start-up.
