    Where does the electrical get run? Can you show that. Is there any way to run electrical from the backside. I have Chelsee coming and I hate the idea of the 2 ports in the front of the hot tub on either side. I don't want the liquid tight conduit to be shown all the way down the side of the hot tub in view... I hate the idea of that visual

      @@4rdzlla Good afternoon, the pre-fabricated cut outs are in the base located on the front left and front right bottom depending on how you’re running the electrical. Hope this helps!

    Brian, as I understand it I cant really buy a tub from you in Texas.....wondering if you can shine any light on whether an Aspen is worth the 10,000 price difference from the Chelsee? We have the Chelsea on hold, but the Aspen in the showroom is calling my name, but it is about $25K with all the extras (minus the sound system) and better financing.

      Good afternoon, tough question! This comes down to what you value. The 880 series does have quite a few more features than the 780 series. The 780 series does have all the Sundance patents and everything they're known for. However, I love the 880s but it's a personal opinion. They're all well built spas and I think you would be happy with either. In your case you might make the decision on whether or not you need the extra space because the Aspen is significantly bigger. Hope this helps!

    You mention leveling the Sundance hot tub before filling. I have a 880 series, but my dealer said that I shouldn't level the hot tub before filling. There is about an 2 inch drop from the front of the tub to the back. Let me know if I could level my tub next time I empty it.

      Good evening, we level almost every hot tub we deliver. This is especially important for the new @ease Sundance automatic water care system. We cut wedges using pressure treated 2x4s going the full length of the base and frame of the hot tub. Depending on size of hot tub, we cut anywhere between 4 and 8 wedges. This does require some carpentry work. Your dealer may not have the means to do this. You may want to hire a handyman to handle this for you. We level almost every hot tub we deliver but every dealer handles things different. Hope this helps!

    I drained the hot tub and checked and several of the jets were closed. I opened them and tried blowing some low pressure air down the line that had water coming out..don't know if any of those things will work..had a film on top of the water I couldn't get rid of so I drained it..thanks for you help..

    • @atlantahottubcenter
      @atlantahottubcenter  Год назад +1

      Normally, a jet being closed wouldn't cause the issue if the airlines are filling with water. Due to it being 20 years or so old one of the jets has just failed and will need to be replaced. You may want to consider getting a authorized service agent involved. This one is a tricky without experience. Hope this helps!

    What do think of Sundance and Jacuzzi moving to a “FlexFill” insulation next year?

    • @atlantahottubcenter
      @atlantahottubcenter  3 года назад +1

      Good morning, great question! FlexFill is being used in Hotspring, Caldera, and many other high end hot tubs manufactured by Watkins. I’ve had the pleasure to test the FlexFill already and the R value is very close to full foam insulation. There’s pros and cons of course but I don’t see this making a difference. I was pleasantly surprised on how good of a job it did during testing. Once they start coming off the line, I’ll do video on the differences. Thanks for watching!

    • @atlantahottubcenter
      @atlantahottubcenter  3 года назад +1

      Good evening, the hot tub is very well insulated already, I really don’t think you necessarily need it. You’re definitely not going to have any trouble without it. The winter wrap would offer some additional insulation but we’re really talking about maybe fifty cents or a dollar a month at most in the colder months so not a huge difference on your electrical bill but there is a slight savings there. Hope this helps!

    Hi Brian, very nice video. I like you channel.
    I have a question : How many kw/h is the 24/24 pump ? I will have a CAPRI model in few month.
    PS : I live in France.
    Thank's in advance for your answer.

    • @atlantahottubcenter
      @atlantahottubcenter  2 года назад +1

      Good morning, the 24 hour circulation pump you're referring to is very inexpensive monthly. They pull 1-3 amps depending on series and model. Due to the insulation value, the heater will only come on when it needs to. In other words, once the heater heats the water to the desired temperature the insulation value will hold the heat in and the heater will only come on here and there to maintain the set temprature. Here in Georgia, most customers are experiencing $5-$12 a month increase on thier electrical bill with the 880 series hot tubs. Hope this helps!

    • @atlantahottubcenter
      @atlantahottubcenter  3 года назад

      Good morning, they all come standard as full foam insulated hot tubs with a reflective material that goes around the skirting and partially covers the motor compartment. Only the winter wrap covers the control box/circuit board. The standard will cover each side of the motor compartment but not the control box/circuit board itself. Hope this helps!

    Do all the 2021 model year series (680+) have Clearray and ozone?

      Good afternoon, yes, all 2021 680 series models are equipped with ozone and a clearray system. Remember, that the 680 series doesn't offer 24 hour circulation so even with both these systems the 680's will require some additional chemical support to maintain. Hope this helps!
