The magic part about that trick is to dont let you'r back leg go to far after the pop, joslin only move his feets, its way easier than try to jump around the whole 180
The back foot is crucial and it really needs to stay in the center. The more your have your back toes towards or over edge the bigger a chance it has to start flipping. But you're trying to 3 shove, not doing a tre flip.
can someone explain how to do the back 180 so late like he does at 0:33 I can back 180 but when I try to do it higher my body doesn't turn right anymore
your shoulders have to be kinda twisted but not your legs.. then after the the pop and u got some air let your legs follow ur shoulders....... plus just keep doing back 180 get really consistant, the stylish stuff come after
He's better at giving trick-tips than most "trick-tippers". Seems like he's one of those skaters that breaks the trick down a lot in his head while learning it. From my experience and years of observation: People who to learn more by "feeling tricks out", often seem to have more of a loose style ,and people like Chris often seem to have more of a beast style. ...they can still be "steezy", but not as relaxed and ?"dabbish"?/"swaggish". LOL, I'm not up on the latest lingo(even growing up, I wasn't able to keep up with the latest trend in slang...even skate slang) ,but I'm sure who's ever reading is "picking up what I'm laying down"(see what I mean? I'm 36 and still using terms my grandparents were too old to use when the were my age) FYI: An hour ago I ate a 150mg bag of Kushy chews, and about 5 minutes ago I smoked some train-wreck.
yo wtf i would have never thought that joslin would be a good teacher lmao. more joslin trick tips!
U must have an extra chromosome
this was surprisingly informative and way more helpful than most tricks tips
+Wonder Bread excatlty what I tought don't know why ahah
+Anthony Bergeron I honestly think its because of Chris. Ive heard him explain tricks before and he does it better than most other people.

Man I was just thinking the same thing.
His back big in Spain was insane.

Please make more trick tips with Chris Joslin please.

Jackman 1010 lean back towards the tail and forward towards your toes and just lightly scoop
He’s so ballin. The style is so clean! Go Joslin!!!!!
crazy how much this helps, usually the pro's have the most vague descriptions. specifically searched for a joslin bigspin tip and this is ideal
Best tutorial hand down! Made me land a big spin in about 20 minutes. I’m taking a land on concrete while moving too lol.
I was expecting for him just do the trick while we watch but wow that was a great explanation thanks Chris!
Its awesome hearing how Chris does his tricks. Dudes a skate god!
Dude… that flat ground ollie needs its own spotlight. Flawless technique.

Best Skater
If somebody tells me how to bigspin, it‘s Joslin🔥🔥
when u pop it is it more of a pop shuvit or 3 shuv
3 shuv
Jay Chea Yeah more 3 shuv-ish, just slower.
270 shuv
best trick tip
can someone explain how to do the back 180 so late like he does at 0:33
I can back 180 but when I try to do it higher my body doesn't turn right anymore
Skateboardin1278 I guess you just bone out an ollie and then turn your shoulders late and whip it around
your shoulders have to be kinda twisted but not your legs.. then after the the pop and u got some air let your legs follow ur shoulders....... plus just keep doing back 180 get really consistant, the stylish stuff come after
Skateboardin1278 You Literally have to ollie higher in order to turn late
Focus more on popping like an Ollie than on rotating the spin. Just pop an Ollie and rotate your shoulders to get the rotation
mine end up flipping
I learned all my tricks in the streets because i don't live clothes to one the closests one is 30 mins away so i find skate spots where i live

👍🏻
Not gunna lie I do them with my toes hanging off at the back and I scoop as if I'm going for a 3 shuv
chris couldnt get a back 1 on flat so he did it off a shoulder high gap..
i can do propper bs bigspin and 360 pop shoveit but i cant do a propper pop shoveit
Dude! Me too lmao

Help
That guy that skates exaggerate the jump backwards
GOD LOVES YOU ✝️❤️👑
Wow an actual tutorial rather than, "first ur gonna wanna..." then just explaining what the trick is 😑
"Learn your bigspin and take it down some stuff"
Pretty much sums it up
100
strange filming and editing, all that slowing down distracts so much.
