How hard is it to build a Reciprocal Roof? Part 1

    Seems like there are so many methods in building a reciprocal roof, however no one speaks about how the roof is leveled when log is being placed on top of log which seems to create different levels on the roof, how do you obtain level across the roof in order to install the decking?

      The way that we did it is we leveled the top of the wall and then we use the hex ring in the middle to level it as well and then placed each board around the ring at the same height. Not exactly scientific but the best method that we could come up with. Thank you for finding our video and commenting!

    What were the dimensions of the structure this roof went on?

      @@azafran5074 i don’t remember the exact. It was around a 3 foot opening. If I remember I will measure it next time.

      @@leeslivingoutofthenorm Ok, Lee, thanks for the response...that's right! it's only by reference...i know depends the inclination of the roof the opening of the inner diameter varies...i ask because i see the inner octahedron where the slats connects at the center...blessings...big hugh...
