Hii jesse....you helped me so much in my hocd journey.....now I have consulted a psychiatrist and he gave me medications ......now I'm doing a lot better.....my compulsions are almost zero now(almost recovered).....so anybody who's suffering from hocd.... talk to a specialist it's only a one month game (at least for me).....

I am quite sure OCD and Tinnitus are in some way interconnected

Ohh really?? Id always get ringing in the ears over the years and thought nothing of it.

@@ljnv That's kind of my point. YOU thought nothing of it, others do. Its been proven that if you give 100 persons tinnitus, only 3 % really suffers mentally from it. And those people are often connected with OCD problems.

I have tinnitus and I understand it's extremely awful. You will have no choice but to habituate and It changes you as a person. Best advise is to ignore it as much as you can. I've tried everything in terms of medication and vitamins and nothing helps. Best thing is to continue with your life, east and drink healthy, exercise and have general well being.

Hi I’m on year 4 of tinnitus and have attached my OCD to it. I was good until like 6 months ago when I tried to take zoloft and it made me substantially worse. I just got on lexapro it works for the anxiety but the ocd is non stop about the tinnitus even when I don’t hear it. All I think about is how I can’t handle this and will have to do something. Any suggestions?

What pops out like any other form of OCD? Are you talking about tinnitus? Or other forms of OCD? The gold standard treatment for OCD is ERP. Same, same, same. Whatever intrusions you have, allow them to be without interfering with them. And get on withg your life despite OCD. Watch my HOCD or GAY video.

@@KevinRamirez-sj2rr I haven't got a clue what you're talking about to be honest. You are obsessing BECAUSE of a noise in your ears? Or obsessing that you may develope tinnitus? Be specific.

@@TheyCallMeJesse that i may develope tinnitus my friend, it's a noise like you mentioned in the currently video.

@@KevinRamirez-sj2rr Download the NOCD app and talk to a professional. If you are having intrusive thoughts about tinnitus then allow those thoughts to be without responding to them. Buy a book called "overcoming unwanted intrusive thoughts" also. If its ruminating you are doing watch my HOCD or GAY video as I talk about ruminating in that video. Carry on with your life and direct your attention to something else instead of dwelling on things. People think that worrying about something is somehow going to "prevent something" from happening, or "figure out" , but worrying doesn't help anything.
