my edc is a s&w 360pd, carry it 10-12 hours a day, 6-7 days a week. trigger components need regular attention. this is also consistent with many other firearm brands that we routinely maintain for customers. sometimes it is all the trigger parts (or non trigger parts as for that matter) and sometimes it’s just one part like a spring. canik gives the customer a few benefits with the choice to nickel plate these metal components. 1. it is a slicker surface giving the intersecting parts a smoother trigger feel 2. they will clean up faster and 3. it will offer an added layer of rust protection. I’m sure there are other benefits as well if i would take the time to think of it but that is good enough for me. thanks for watching. ak
