Yeah, It's definitely weathered but this is up on Mount Hood in Oregon and it gets beat up in the weather but still seemed to be in good shape. Thanks for watching

Sand hill Cranes, would be my guess, when they speak it sounds like what i think a Terridactile would sound like.

I was probably at least 100yards away and those things looked at least 2-3 feet tall or better from where I was standing.

Yes they looked like them. We get them in our yard a lot as they nest not far from our house in the summer. They eat small rodents and frogs.

Any chance you'll be building a cabin somewhere? I'm always looking around for new cabin build channels. Thanks!

It Alaska there are many cabin owned by the National Forest Service that you make reservations and rent. Many of these are fly in or hike in. A cabin looking like that would be similar to many of the cabins they rent out here.

This place is amazing. During the Off season you can use this cabin for free but you do so at your own risk. Other then a Bear or some critter trying to come through the door, there really is no risk.

@@LivinAdventurous we have an off-road place six miles from a road and we carry a 12 gauge because we have both brown and black bear visitors from time to time.

@@Chris_at_Home That's amazing, this place is off the beaten path and albeit bear activity may be a slim chance, depending on the time of year, it only takes one chance for them to show up for some bacon on the fire or anything else you cookin LOL

@@LivinAdventurous We keep our place clean of all food garbage so they mostly just pass through. The bear like to chew on plastic things like water jugs, gas jugs and garden hose. A few years ago I was sitting in the outhouse with the door open and a small black walked by less than 10 feet from me and never even looked towards me. It before my morning coffee but a was definitely awake after that happened.
