They managed to articulate how I feel every single day in a song. Nice to know I'm not the only person who feels this way but it's also a sad commentary on how broken society has become. I guess I'm not actually a hand me down anymore, everyone I've ever loved or cared about is either dead or gone. They call this thing we're doing "life" but I think "an exercise in suffering and loss" is a far more apt description.
