Best news I've heard in a dog's age! lol. Even though I spent two years in Germany, with the military, I still agree with everything said in this video. Because I've learned a lot about my country, since then, and still am, angry and embarrassed about most of it, from it's history, till today. I've learned that it's not been good, truthful, or even caring, over it's history, and it hasn't changed a bit, even today. It's always taking care of it's own purposes, in building it's own empire! And how many empires have fallen throughout history, because of it's own greediness? I'm sorry to say, I wouldn't mind seeing this country, come down a few notches, for all the evil and lies they've brought to others! So I hope this speech from Sevim, this brave German lawmaker, will be listened to, and have other countries following her! I'm not saying I don't care at all about my country, but I am very much angry, about what this government has done throughout history, and I am truly furious that the supposed "leader" that we have today, should not be ruling this country, at all, and he doesn't even realize, or doesn't care, or both, about all the horrible things he's done to our country, while the rest of us cringe, and are totally embarrassed about how we look on the world's stage, to other better and stronger leaders to so many other countries!

@@anoldmannameddave7455 Hehe! You mean "Imperialist", empirical is about "empirismus" in Epistemology. ☺But all is good, I very much agree with your comment. Greetings from Mexico and down with the imperialist policies everywhere!
Driven by insatiable greed, the corporate-controlled U.S. will never willingly accept a multi-polar world. Empires never settle for anything less than total ownership and control of the world's natural, human and financial financial resources. This makes the US the main instigator of wars and terrorism worldwide. Humanity urgently needs real democracy in the corporate-controlled U.S., fraudulently disguised as 'democracy'. The 20 year-long Princeton University research in 2014 revealed/confirmed the US is not a democracy or a republic, it's a corporate-controlled oligarchy which serves the corporations not the people.
In total agreement here of course, and I think your suggestion that change might only catalyze when there is _"nothing to lose but our chains"_ along with the diagnosis of ignorance/ideology appears (at least at the current moment) quite apt sadly, but just want to outline a brief (hopefully lol) historical materialist lens on the US settler colonial project for anyone circumstantially unfamiliar as this opens up a way to understand the historical _continuity_ of these tidal _material_ forces undergirding the political currents and the _"traditions of all generations that weigh like a nightmare on the brains of the living."_ Contrary to our ubiquitous mythology, the US constitution was essentially a brokerage between finance capital, led by the federalist eastern banking mercantilist faction in Hamilton, and the land-holding slave-owning "yeoman farmer" anti-federalists led by Jefferson specifically to guard against the immediate threats of Shay's/Whiskey Rebellion populist uprisings but further to protect their newfound material power (ie property ownership/control) against what both of these factions _actually_ feared: democracy (see: Federalist papers, Federalist 10 by Madison makes this pretty explicitly clear, Hamilton denouncing the people as a "great beast" as he argued vociferously for the electoral college, etc.). These people wrote this stuff so far up their own (excuse my "french") asses they knew at some level that these factions and their competing interests would pose a problem (like, no shit lol...) but assumed (or at least conveyed this rhetorical cover in their writings) their personal individual "virtue", noblesse oblige self-evident by their property ownership and dominion over black, poor, and indigenous people, would transcend it. Turns out that isn't a thing. "Oops." But of course under a class-based society, it's only "oops" for a designated exploited class - for the ruling class this arrangement is quite preferred, to the point of extending quite literally all costs to perpetuate it. The question of politics is _always_ "cui bono?" (who benefits?) and really the only times a full-fledged genuine ie _material_ democracy or "populism" that benefits [insert exploited class here - under capitalism, the working class] will be approved of by a particular dominating class is when it benefits them against other members of _their own_ class or like a king or whatever, like the fervent working class radicalism of the sans-culottes slowly falling out of favor with the bourgeoisie (owning class) in the National Convention in the French revolution as their egalitarian project encroached on this middle-class material power, despite riding this momentum to overthrow the Ancien régime, or of course the US colonialists liberating their particular yolk of the British crown and its enforcement of strict territorial borders (preventing westward expansion aka "manifest destiny" aka land theft/indigenous genocide)/taxation. A thread of class struggle one can extend to Ancient Greece, noting things like Plato's five regimes (where democracy is supposedly the last stage of civilizational decline before tyranny, aristocratic rule of course in Plato's view only second to deference to a "philosopher king", a parallel justification akin to the pronounced noblesse oblige of the American colonialists) to the optimates dominion of the late Roman empire before it, crushing the populares movements by the Gracchi bros and later Caesar (all murdered by the senate, of which our own is of course a homage to, entirely unaccountable as per initial constitution and purely nominated by state legislatures) for the "authoritarian" threat they posed (to the oligarchy, is the unsaid part of course) by crossing the _actual_ rubicon of debt cancellation and land redistribution to the public (Caesar for purely technical long-term imperial management ie "efficiency" reasons of long term political stability of course, a historically progressive movement nontheless). _“The ideas of the ruling class are in every epoch the ruling ideas, i.e. the class which is the ruling material force of society, is at the same time its ruling intellectual force. The class which has the means of material production at its disposal, has control at the same time over the means of mental production, so that thereby, generally speaking, the ideas of those who lack the means of mental production are subject to it. The ruling ideas are nothing more than the ideal expression of the dominant material relationships, the dominant material relationships grasped as ideas.”_ - some guy (Marx to not be pointlessly facetious) Liberalism, as a break in the social order of Feudalism (Feudalism being the outcome of more locally concentrated landed gentry as a consequence of the gradual dissolution of the Roman empire) catalyzed by the black death and insane constant warfare like the 30 years war (shoutout to Chapo Trap House's spinoff history podcast Hell on Earth for a great historical materialist overview of the tumultuous tidal tremors occurring during this period), continuing this thread of class struggle uncoincidentally visible throughout the entirety of human history. In consciously breaking with that social order infamously defined by the divine right of kings and its corresponding social hierarchy (effectively acting as an unbounded/ungrounded ideological power-washing of the former social order), Liberalism perceives reality much as it does its subjects - as a bunch of purely discrete nodes, windowless monads or Kantian "things in themselves", rather than a more wholistic "process metaphysics" where things are entirely intertwined and impossible to remove from context of structural/historical relations and their corresponding material conditions. Essentially Liberalism assumes metaphysically that ideas alone drive history, importantly though _without_ any consideration of historical _material_ conditions that necessarily catalyze and bound such ideas to begin with. But of course, as that Marx guy put it (unsubtly referenced at the top of this book-length comment I don't blame anyone for not reading at this point lol), _"Men make their own history, but they do not make it as they please; they do not make it under self-selected circumstances, but under circumstances existing already, given and transmitted from the past. The tradition of all dead generations weighs like a nightmare on the brains of the living."_ Or as Sartre even more succinctly put it, _"Existence _*_precedes_*_ essence"_ Capitalism as a "mode of production" fuels production through the foundational antagonism of class at its root, ie the capitalist class necessarily benefits at the zero-sum cost of the working class, class being dictated by one's relationship to a means of production (e.g. a factory ) in terms of ownership and control. Inevitably though, as was elucidated extensively by classical economists like Adam Smith, David Ricardo, John Stuart Mill, and reaching its culmination in Marx, the leviathan of the state (Hobbes), idealistically a neutral arbiter/mediator between these emergent social classes (which again, stand to benefit at the others' zero-sum expense), is instead utilized as a political cudgel by the capitalist class to further dominate the working class, leading precisely to the situation we find ourselves in with both political parties in the US serve only the interests of US corporate/finance capital, as some guy put it, _"The executive of the modern state is but a committee for managing the common affairs of the whole bourgeoisie."_ All of this is to attempt to haphazardly highlight (highly recommend checking out the communist manifesto which outlines this historical unfolding far more poetically/fluidly), aside from the fact that I clearly have nothing better to do lol, more precisely why this hubris/perceived ignorance/corruption from our view persists regardless of a sober description of the inevitable consequences of perpetuating this reality - ie what is at stake from the capitalist class's perspective: *everything.* To the ruling class, this system is not at all broken, it's fixed, and their every intention is merely to keep it that way. Their success is our defeat, and in light of such dialectical consideration (which is to say - from consideration of their zero-sum opposing material interests) what may be construed as a mistake is in actuality a very deliberate class conscious war openly transpiring in plain sight. But uh...pessimism of the intellect, optimism of the will...or something! (Gramsci) Hopefully any of that added anything/made sense to fill in the "why" aspect of the question regarding our current political paralysis posed (enormous tidal _material_ forces and their corresponding ideological/social fiefdoms and limitations of possibility, in our case all possibility strictly bound to profitability along with bourgeois "individualism" and largely depoliticized technologically mediated 'bread and circus' spectacle), but the main point being - to echo Rosa Luxemburg from her Spartacus uprising from interwar Germany, before of course being executed by the freikorps paramilitary (later becoming the SS, shocker) at the behest of Ebert's ostensibly _social democratic_ SPD party (the very same vassal party of current chancellor Scholz), almost immediately resonating the truth of such a succinct political dichotomy to this day: *_socialism or_* [continued] *_barbarism._* PS if not already familiar, Ben and Aaron Good's Empire and Deep State series (along with producer Seamus McGuinness) offers a great digestible and even more thorough alternative explanation to my abbreviated screed of consciousness here lol

Germany has a long way to go to free themselves from occupation, if ever. Just like Japan. Other countries, like Sweden, are going into vassal-hood without thinking it through, and without letting the people decide. Exiting the (probably pretend) nutrality should have been made with less haste. Now they have opened themselves up to forreign troops on their territory. And these troops will probably carry nuclear weapons, without asking Sweden for permission. Germany at least have the excuse that they were occupied after losing the war.
Germany made an enormous step backwards with the 2021 federal election, after Angela Merkel retired. This was shortly before 'Team Jorge' was exposed. There is no _known_ connection between the elections and that elections manipulation contractor, but such a connection would explain a lot of things that were and are strange about the elections and the current German government.

What MP Sevim said it's both true and correct. True that the US considers Germany as no more than another vassal state. Correct in that US nuclear assets automatically makes Germany, by proxy, a nuclear target.
But that’s was part of the plan when Germany surrendered in the last war and if they want the US military to leave they should do more about defending themselves and Germany has always been a threat to Russia if doesn’t matter if the U.S. has nuclear weapons because they’re like a sovereign country on those bases

Germany is not free.
I agree. They don’t represent the American people.

@@bartonlee3594 No, you’re wrong. Germany doesn’t like it at all. If Germany had its way it would become neutral, send no weapons, and pursue peace. But NATO boss USA has other ideas. They would never allow Germany to leave NATO, nor any of their other members. There are nasty things (threats) going on behind the scenes, as Sweden and Finland will find out once they fall into the trap called NATO. All NATO members must do as told by USA. The members must follow the script handed to them by their NATO boss, or else.
But Polen has no problem with all of that since it loves to play into the hands of their NATO boss in the hope to be richly rewarded by their boss for their special efforts.

@@anoldmannameddave7455 Hehe! You mean "Imperialist", empirical is about "empirismus" in Epistemology. ☺But all is good, I very much agree with your comment. Greetings from Mexico and down with the imperialist policies everywhere!
Excellent breakdown that shows how communists think.
In total agreement here of course, and I think your suggestion that change might only catalyze when there is _"nothing to lose but our chains"_ along with the diagnosis of ignorance/ideology appears (at least at the current moment) quite apt sadly, but just want to outline a brief (hopefully lol) historical materialist lens on the US settler colonial project for anyone circumstantially unfamiliar as this opens up a way to understand the historical _continuity_ of these tidal _material_ forces undergirding the political currents and the _"traditions of all generations that weigh like a nightmare on the brains of the living."_
Contrary to our ubiquitous mythology, the US constitution was essentially a brokerage between finance capital, led by the federalist eastern banking mercantilist faction in Hamilton, and the land-holding slave-owning "yeoman farmer" anti-federalists led by Jefferson specifically to guard against the immediate threats of Shay's/Whiskey Rebellion populist uprisings but further to protect their newfound material power (ie property ownership/control) against what both of these factions _actually_ feared: democracy (see: Federalist papers, Federalist 10 by Madison makes this pretty explicitly clear, Hamilton denouncing the people as a "great beast" as he argued vociferously for the electoral college, etc.). "Oops."
But of course under a class-based society, it's only "oops" for a designated exploited class - for the ruling class this arrangement is quite preferred, to the point of extending quite literally all costs to perpetuate it.
The ruling ideas are nothing more than the ideal expression of the dominant material relationships, the dominant material relationships grasped as ideas.”_ - some guy (Marx to not be pointlessly facetious)
Liberalism, as a break in the social order of Feudalism (Feudalism being the outcome of more locally concentrated landed gentry as a consequence of the gradual dissolution of the Roman empire) catalyzed by the black death and insane constant warfare like the 30 years war (shoutout to Chapo Trap House's spinoff history podcast Hell on Earth for a great historical materialist overview of the tumultuous tidal tremors occurring during this period), continuing this thread of class struggle uncoincidentally visible throughout the entirety of human history. But of course, as that Marx guy put it (unsubtly referenced at the top of this book-length comment I don't blame anyone for not reading at this point lol),
_"Men make their own history, but they do not make it as they please; they do not make it under self-selected circumstances, but under circumstances existing already, given and transmitted from the past. The tradition of all dead generations weighs like a nightmare on the brains of the living."_
Or as Sartre even more succinctly put it, _"Existence _*_precedes_*_ essence"_
Capitalism as a "mode of production" fuels production through the foundational antagonism of class at its root, ie the capitalist class necessarily benefits at the zero-sum cost of the working class, class being dictated by one's relationship to a means of production (e.g. a factory ) in terms of ownership and control. Inevitably though, as was elucidated extensively by classical economists like Adam Smith, David Ricardo, John Stuart Mill, and reaching its culmination in Marx, the leviathan of the state (Hobbes), idealistically a neutral arbiter/mediator between these emergent social classes (which again, stand to benefit at the others' zero-sum expense), is instead utilized as a political cudgel by the capitalist class to further dominate the working class, leading precisely to the situation we find ourselves in with both political parties in the US serve only the interests of US corporate/finance capital, as some guy put it, _"The executive of the modern state is but a committee for managing the common affairs of the whole bourgeoisie."_
All of this is to attempt to haphazardly highlight (highly recommend checking out the communist manifesto which outlines this historical unfolding far more poetically/fluidly), aside from the fact that I clearly have nothing better to do lol, more precisely why this hubris/perceived ignorance/corruption from our view persists regardless of a sober description of the inevitable consequences of perpetuating this reality - ie what is at stake from the capitalist class's perspective: *everything.* To the ruling class, this system is not at all broken, it's fixed, and their every intention is merely to keep it that way.
(Gramsci)
Hopefully any of that added anything/made sense to fill in the "why" aspect of the question regarding our current political paralysis posed (enormous tidal _material_ forces and their corresponding ideological/social fiefdoms and limitations of possibility, in our case all possibility strictly bound to profitability along with bourgeois "individualism" and largely depoliticized technologically mediated 'bread and circus' spectacle), but the main point being - to echo Rosa Luxemburg from her Spartacus uprising from interwar Germany, before of course being executed by the freikorps paramilitary (later becoming the SS, shocker) at the behest of Ebert's ostensibly _social democratic_ SPD party (the very same vassal party of current chancellor Scholz), almost immediately resonating the truth of such a succinct political dichotomy to this day:
*_socialism or_* [continued] *_barbarism._*
PS if not already familiar, Ben and Aaron Good's Empire and Deep State series (along with producer Seamus McGuinness) offers a great digestible and even more thorough alternative explanation to my abbreviated screed of consciousness here lol

Exactly...Sweden and finish govts should let the people decide if they want their countries to lose their sovereignty and become a US vassal state
Germany made an enormous step backwards with the 2021 federal election, after Angela Merkel retired. This was shortly before 'Team Jorge' was exposed.
