I've been running this trimmer for the last two season's! This year, it run's better? Good fuel, new Plug's, and just giving a crap! This trimmer is the Best Trimmer I ever had!
I have only ever had issues with one unit, I am still running some that are 7 years old. I just bought a new 330 LK for light brush work and it kicks ass
Just picked up the 525L today. Its a beast... i dont understand the reviews of people having a hard time starting it.. it fired up on the 4th pull. All my stuff is huaqvarna, i have a push mower, riding mower with the snowblower attachment, and a chainsaw, keep up with the maintenance and i have never had an issue.
If youve never adjusted the carb you need to lean it out a lot on both the low and high screw. Mine was vibrating and shaking my hands to pieces and i leaned it out a lot and that fixed the problem. Gained a lot of power too. They run insanely rich from the factory
@@aldenslandscaping if you have an engine tachometer set the low screw to around 2900-3000 rpm or just before clutch egagement and set the high screw to where it runs around 8500-8600 rpm. Thats what i did it smoothed it out significantly
I’ve owned a 525L for over 5 years used commercially but it does have a problem with hot starts it’s a real pain in my ass to restart when engine is warm and you can’t half choke them like the older Echos and they would go. these at least 10 pulls to get them going again that is my complaint on them and there throttle cables are very flimsy every year I have to change a throttle cable there not heavy duty like echos that never barely break but other then that it’s a great running machine.
@@Mitch11116 Are you in South Fla heat is a big factor with these units that’s why Echos and Redmax are so popular hear my dealer stopped selling Husqavarna a few years ago there just not popular hear and as reliable
Alden, can you please help me out. I’ve been looking for a trimmer head for the 525l and it’s impossible. Can you let me know where you’re getting them from. Thanks!

I have put a lot of hours on mine already. I have had no issues it runs sweet! Thanks for watching review
Great review i use the speed feed head from Husqvarna
I'm going to have to look into those. Mine all have the old style heads on them. Thanks for watching!

@@aldenslandscaping i turned mine up to 8800-8900 the other day and its even smoother now. Dont think i'm gonna go higher than that.

Use the canned 94 octane premix husky gas and expect zero problems.
I will try it. Thanks

I have not had hot start problems but have replaced throttle cable. I have one old Echo that is just starting to get tired now after 8 or 9 years.
Yeah I haven’t had any of the issues personally and I have 5 of them. I do tune them regularly tho

Can you add a saw attachment to the 525L ?
@@JayD_113 yes Husqvarna sells a blade kit for end . Last I checked they were on back order at my local dealers
Taking the guard off over heats the motor wears the clutch out and voids your warranty 😊
Yeah for sure. The little motors work hard enough with guard on.
Hey check out the flywheel on it , I have worked on small engines for 45 years
Will do. thank you for the advice

My local Husqvarna dealer went out and now I get them at Lowe's. If they are not on the shelf they should be able to order them for you.
Put a echo speed feed head on it.
Did you try on eBay?
Good video bro
Just got my first 525L today
I believe you will be happy with it
I think 300 series Husqy machines were/are the best
I have tried a few other brands over the years, and they are definitely the best for me.
