How many Dean Martin fans would freak out if a "complete" DVD set of every episode of the Dean Martin Variety Show "uncut" was released? I know I would! :) I would have to purchase it and I'd be sitting in front of the TV on my sofa for days watching it start to finish! LOL Personally, I don't care what kinda BS "NBC" would have to go through to get this complete collection to us fans! I just know that it would make me VERY HAPPY to have it! :)
@@abrogard142 Guthy-Renker released a 28 DVD collection of The Dean Martin Variety Show. Time Life NBC Universal has also released a 3 DVD set called The Dean Martin Variety Show Uncut. They also released a single DVD called The Best of Dean and His Friends. Just to name a few. All of them are Great!

I'll see what i can find now. :) bring back happy memories if i got good copies of the dean martin show... was my favourite show... watched it all the time.. don't even remember which years that was now... he was too. i've just been going over frank and i'm a bit shocked by how much i've over rated him in my memory. they all have good days and bad days, they all have good songs and better songs, good backing bands and bad, good acoustics and bad, good recording and bad.... yep. But at the end dean's got more going for him, to me, than frank. though I do like frank's songbook if that means anything... if it's any different to dean's.
that little tiny bit out of sync makes it seem like he's dubbing sometimes. bit of a shame. I love the singing. i love dean's voice. but i prefer for this song rex harrison or jeremy irons for they sing it as a story about a person where dean sings it as a song about his singing, his voice... you see? to me here dean is demonstrating how well he can sing, what a beautiful voice he has, etc... rex and jeremy don't have that, but by god they can tell a story.... check 'em out... they're on the tube

We no longer have singers like Andy Williams, Tony Bennett, Nat “King” Cole or Dino, and musically, we are poorer for it!!
His voice makes me melt! Dean Martin oozed charm, charisma and cool without even trying.
He was my mom's favorite crooner. I sure miss those days of listening to Dino with her.

I believe Dean's television show ran from 1965 to 1973 or 1974 for 9 seasons on NBC. It's a true classic for sure.
