Hangouts was how my ex fiancé & I used to communicate in high school. Always knew it was him when I heard this sound. Now Google Chat is the new replacement, we’ve been broken up a few months, he’s found someone else, and I’m never gonna hear this again (unless I search it on RUclips). It’s the end of an era that brought me so many wonderful memories
Back when my best friend and I used hangouts she would always spam me until I came online and we would chat for hours on end… now we’re not friends anymore but this sound brings back so many good memories
when i was in a really bad emotional state a few years ago i used hangouts to communicate with people. in the process i accidentally trained my brain to be happy when i heard the notification sound. now if i ever feel bad i just listen to it and my brain gets happy without me having to do anything
