  • **If you are interested please see part 2. I show what the digested fly looked like 5 days later after the trap opened up.**
My fly trap has woken up from it's winter dormancy. It still has broader leaves, but has started to regrow traps. I noticed this fly poking around, and I thought I would film the carnage! I shot this on my phone, so I am sorry for the quality. I am also new to youtube and still have a lot to learn. Enjoy!!

Ya, this was right after winter. The traps are sluggish at first. As the spring/summer progresses, they get a lot faster. I guess it was lucky the fly was sluggish because of the cold as well. They move faster in my other videos.
