Take it from someone who had an annual pass to Disneyland for two years: The ONLY reason you should take a small bag to the park is because you have an annual pass and this would be the 4th time you’ve been to the park in the past month. Being unprepared at Disneyland means paying a premium for things you could’ve easily brought from home. Subaru continues to be best girl.

I just love the feel of the even weight on my shoulders with a backpack. I had to keep switching my slingbag shoulder to shoulder because of my ocd. One time I even put rocks in my backpack because it contained too few items and was really light which felt unnatural. When my buddies were looking for their snacks that they put in my bag found the rocks, they went hysterical.
Subaru is that caring friend who would even carry stuffs for you. and I'm happy that she even bring garage bags to put their waste in. One of my pet peeve is when people just throw their trash anywhere. Besides I also prefer backpacks when going out.

I can relate. I carry a messenger bag everywhere I go. My friends would always put stuff in there and take turn carrying my bag afterwards. The thing I carry in my bag is just my battery bank, my tablet, an umbrella, and a pencil case with writing utensil. I have a headphone case attach to my bag during the winter to wear my Sennheiser BTNC 4.5 to double as an earmuff, and my Soundcore Liberty 2 earbuds during the other seasons.
I want to crack a joke, but I hard agree and am the person in the group that has a backpack with; ice water, pain-killers, nausea medicine, lactase supplement(lactose intolerance runs in the family...), small towels that can be used for various purposes(mostly to wet and wear for heat stroke prevention and treatment in that kind of situation), and alcohol wipes to deal with the various gross things at that kind of place. And of course, plenty of room left for souvenirs and merch. It's saved the day multiple times.
I always recommend my friends who use bags when going out and you'll shop around, to just get a backpack. It fucks your hips and back, and you'll end up having problems without realizing.
Honestly, even if I am just travelling to have fun, I still pick my backpack instead of my smaller bags where I can only fit my phone and wallet plus other things. I mean, I am not sure when I will buy something or if my companions gets tired of holding onto something, the backpack helps solve that.

I am the type who can't stand carrying my girl's handbag on my own arm (logically it is meant to be worn at the elbow) because my mum always laughed at me saying I looked like a very tall girl. ( I am rather effeminate but I am straight.) So back then, I always brought my backpack so that I can put HER bag inside it. Also for me to bring drinks since if we are out whole day, she would be thirsty.
