Its obviously really sad that Jeanette lost her sister, but Abby lost her Mum, Dad and dog, so she also knew how it feels

I'm very sorry to hear that but I hope maybe she's okay and have been it's okay everything's going to be okay but I'm very sorry to hear that your sister passed away but everything's going to be okay hopefully she's in a safe place

though i do show sympathy to jeanette, does she remember that abby probably had to walk into a waiting room when her mother passed away? i don’t think she had the right to say abby didn’t have that emotion/power

exactly and also abby is obviously kind of uptight at times so she doesn't have any family and she doesn't have a lot of friends to lean on at times like those
I don’t think Jeanette knew about ms miller. But I have to agree with Jeanette hear. I don’t think abby let the others girls put themselves into the same situation as the message of the dance.

well you have to understand that even if I was in Jeanette’s situation I would be devistated hearing the news someone died. Let her be, if her sister died, dont call her something and someone she loved so much died. Yes in most vids u can see Jeanette is so horrible and annoying. Have u ever heard of TV editing btw? I dont think so.

Abby: mom died , called dad (no mom) dad died (couldn’t call mom or dad)
Abby’s dad died in 2000 from a seizure at home. Her mom died in 2014 while in hospice care at 86. While still very sad, Jeanette’s story is more tragic as her sister was killed very suddenly and shockingly
Although Jeanette was kind of a pest in the show (yes I know some of it was scripted), she is absolutely gorgeous.

It doesn’t matter if you are beautiful on the outside.All that matters is your personality. True beauty isn’t defined by looks, it is defined by character and what is on the inside. Some one could be beautiful but have a nasty personality so I don’t really know

Ive never seen this scene and I watch alot of dance mom videos
I know that she went through a hard time and is trying to give the dance the credit she thinks it deserves. But it’s not her dance and she didn’t come up with the story line. If Abby copied one of their dances they would not be happy at all. Abby lost her mum, dad, dog and most of students all lost someone too or they missed Abby’s mum. I don’t think Jeanette should have taken Abby’s dance but I do feel sorry for her that she went through this because losing someone so close to you really sucks

I think Jeanette is referring to a different feeling! Abby knew her mom was going to die so it was a different type of waiting! Do you know how to wait in the feeling of the unknown, but Abby waited knowing that it was going to happen eventually! It’s two different feelings!
Abby doesn’t have a connection? She lost all of her family. She lost her dad, her mom, and her baby (her dog Broadway Baby). Jeanette only lost her sister. I do feel bad for Jeanette, and I couldn’t image losing any of my siblings but it was totally out of line for her to say that Abby didn’t have a connection. Smh 🤦🏼♀️
Now Jeannette lost her son ... its hard for both , its never easy to loose a loved one

Well first of all yeah abby did her mom died and yeah she had to be in a waiting room when her mom was sent to the hospital so... Jeanette doesn’t know anything and tbh she just thinks about her self like abby doesn’t know how it feels to wait in a waiting room and I do so my dance is gonna be better and have a real story...and does she even know how to make dances or she just copying off of abby???

Melissa maddie and mckenzie knew mrs miller cause they were the first people to walk into ALDC and even if they aren’t there now they are still in Abby’s heart and I my mum my uncle my auntie and all of my mums side had to go through this cause of my great nanny and this was only in feb

Imma just share my opinion for a sec...
Although I felt bad for Jeanette, I also felt bad for Abby, and I don't feel like it was right for Jeanette to say how Abby "missed the mark." Abby was also in a waiting room, so it was kind of insensitive to say the least. However, this was her way of telling her story, and I feel like it was powerful for her to tell her story, just like Abby did. And sure, she copied an idea, however I just like to think she was "inspired" by her, to tell how her sister died. Also, VERY unpopular opinion, even though this was a copied dance, I feel like bda's waiting room had a much more cleaner story (like what was going on i.e. why they were in the waiting room) and you know, was an actual dance. While DM was a sorta dance but was so POWERFUL executed on how the experience is in a waiting room..
In short, both dances were powerful true stories told in dance form, but Dance Moms dance missed the dancing part (to me, it was like a bunch of solos) but BDA, although had a clearer story, missed the powerful acting Abby had. However, I feel like BDA's dance should be a little more respected.
