Didn’t know you were former LEO. Bet you were a cool cop. ‘Hey, sir…I’ll let you off with a warning on going 57 in a 40 if I can have a look inside your lunchbox. Purely voluntary, of course. I’m not looking for contraband. Just ideas’.

Surprised the manufacturers don't have a solar charger integrated on the battery. Having to go from panels to solar "generator" to battery there will be more efficiency loss then if you could go straight from panels to charge controller on battery. Plus that cut down drastically on weight for those who would want to solar charge while out on trail. Maybe something the manufacturer should consider. Also having been a gear head for decades I will affirm that best brakes are very important. ✌️

A couple of things I'd like to say about this:
    1) I'm glad you're opting to do some reviews and don't be afraid to do sponsorship ads within your videos. RUclips's algorithms are killing so many channels, everyone understands the need to make money where the monetizing elements of RUclips have gone down the toilet.
    2) All bikes can do 30mph. I used to ride a LOT, one job called for 16kms ride to work, half of every hour spent riding patrols of a large site and 16kms home again. I used to ride with traffic in 60kmh or roughly 40mph traffic under my own power. It's why I find e-bike regulations to be absurd. You're not wrong about a helmet though. I hit a pole on my bike doing around 30mph and wrapped around it like Wyle E Coyote and it hurt like hell and I got a little banged up. Without a helmet, it would have been straight up concussion.
    3) I didn't know you were a retired Police Officer. I have even more respect for you and love for your vids now. That's a ballsy, nerves of steel duty to have. My respects.

Looks fun. Nice camera work. Senada chose well with you as someone to try out the bike and talk about it.
ebikes are increasingly popular. I dont know much about them, but the prepper element is what originally piqued my interest. I just haven't sprung for one yet because Im not there yet. But I know I like the wide tires and higher weight capacity like this bike has (I'm heavier plus wiggle room for gear). The longer range on a charge is important too. Now I can add this brand as a contender. Thanks!

Here's something weird. I used to ride a Harley. Have been on a highway at 75 mph. BUT, the first time I was on my stepson's Ebike, I was terrified of going 5 mph. Have been considering one anyway, and reviews like this really help.

Man 30mph on a bike is terrifyingly fast. I would think this kind of bike would also be great for van life or people who do a lot of boon-docking out in the middle of the woods. It would be a lot of fun just riding it around it would be nice to be able to charge it and great in case of when the vehicle won't start or can't be driven.

Thank you so much. I will add that I cut off two inches from the seat post so I could sit more comfortably. It’s designed to be a bike for taller people. With the seat up higher it would probably work better for you. Those 26 inch tires make for a pretty tall setup.

Had a friend in maintenance at work that bought an electric rear wheel and battery for his bike from China. It came with a speedometer.
