Leave this great man alone. All I see here is people fighting over what they think the truth is. This man gave blood after the 9/11 attacks. This man made Christopher Reeve laugh for the first time after his paralyzing accident and paid his medical bills. He make so many people smile and laugh. He was a tortured man who took his own life because he couldn't deal with them. He was already in his own personal Hell; He fought Alcoholism, Depression, Drug use. Then near the end, he learned that he had Parkinson's, a horrible and crippling disease. He put other people's priorities before his. I don't care what religion, race, ethnicity, or orientation you are; Just let this great man who made the world laugh rest. He's been through enough in life to be insulted and condemned to Hell by people who took offense. Any one who tries to start a religious fight against me will just prove my point. He was one of my heroes and I miss him everyday. I always have to wake up to a world without a comedy genius like him. "Comedy is acting out optimism" R.I.P Robin Williams 1951-2014
+Movie Madness I am sure God knows even more about his charities, and I am sure Robin, overall wasn't a very evil man. But we are all descended from Adam and Eve who sinned first and we suffer and are held in the curse of God due to Genesis 3. Therefore, despite yours, Robin's or even my charity.. it is good to give. It is even more important to receive Jesus Christ's sacrifice as the answer to our problem with sin. Without Jesus' sacrifice we are all doomed. I hope Robin knew him, judging by his digging into the fundamentalist as he is doing above... I think not, but I don't condemn him, as it says in the Holy book, we condemn ourselves. Christ came not in to the world to condemn the world, but that through him many would be righteous through his blood which was shed. John 3:17 is the source for that perspective. Peace to you Movie Madness. I would be mad for Jesus and be enjoy the insanity of the joy of my Lord, but my flesh denies me the realization Glad I am washed by his blood and not soap and water.
Also he was diagnosed with dementia meaning his mind was also starting to go. The rest of his life would have been a living hell. And now hes gone to heaven
If Robin was still alive, I would pay good money for him to have a history show. Like really good money. And he would just improv history lessons. Imagine him doing the French Revolution or WWII.
Ultimately it is one big mockery though: as funny as Mr Williams was, he includes blasphemy and makes the account seem fanciful. As a Christian, I don't think our culture needed this, nor do I think his strawman of 'fundamentalists' reasonable: perpetuates the lie and myth that those who interpret historically don't use their heads nor pay attention to the secular histories and the details of the narrative.
The Book of Exodus is metal as hell already; Guns and Moses would be right in the ballpark. "LET MY PEOPLE GO OR YOU'RE GETTING TWO IN THE HEAD" just works.
I'm a Christian and I simply adore Robin WIlliams and his comedy routine, especially this. He took something that could get a ton of people riled up if it is made fun of and just ran with it like he had a M-16 up his ass that was about to fire. He just simply loved to make people smile and have a good time. I honestly don't care what he jokes he makes as long as they aren't straight up hateful. The jokes he made here were in line with what is in the Bible (regardless of if a person believes in it or not) and he would poke fun at various things that did seem weird both in the Bible and outside of the Bible. Does it mean he automatically goes to Hell cuz he took his own life? Both yes and no depending on your viewpoint. Personally, I like to believe he went to Heaven cuz I believe that if you are saved and truly believe you are saved, then you are allowed into Heaven, despite the way you died.
This is my first time watching Robin Williams do stand up comedy. And i'm like, holy fuck this guy is impressive. His voice acting and facial expression are unlike anything I've ever seen. I don't think he was just the voice actor of the Genie in Aladdin. I honestly think they modeled the genie's character after him.
Half right. The writers had an idea of how they wanted the character to go. And then Williams got cast, and he did what he's done in several of his TV shows and movies: he improvised a completely different direction of how he thought the character should go, and the writers took their cues from him after that. Ever since he guest starred on Happy Days, Williams always created his own path, and his enthusiasm made it impossible not to want to join him on it.
+mugglesarecooltoo ....You show your lack of humor and lack of spiritual training. In the Bible God smote dead people who did far less than the greatly mislead Robin in his routine above. God takes joy in his creation, he takes no joy in his creation mocking him. Be careful, be very careful. Make fun of me if you wish, but the man above who mocked God openly for a few laughs hanged himself, despite his fame, fortune, lovely wife, and children. Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap....Galatians 6:7. Now Robin is dead and no one saw it coming. I feel somewhat sorry for him, I bet you he wasn't pulling rabbits out of a hat, painted up like a mime at the great white throne of God. Not mocking God here, but by our very sin, which we commit daily we mock God... Repent while there is time... Robin's time ran out like a glass turned upside down.
The day this wonderful man left us the world became a sadder place. Thank goodness we have all his work to watch over and over again. Will always miss you RW.
Yep. In practice, it's kind of the opposite of _normal_ compassion. Normal compassion is like, "Oh, he mocked my religion, but he hanged himself because he had Parkinson's Disease and he was completely miserable. Poor guy. No one deserves to die like that." Christian compassion, on the other hand, is like, "Yes! _Yes!_ He offed himself! The blasphemer offed himself! _Burn in Hell,_ you damned heretic!" It's kind of funny how Christians claim to follow Jesus of Nazareth, yet Jesus practiced that _normal_ kind of compassion...you know, like how the Romans came to arrest him and Peter wigged out and hacked that one Roman guy's ear off, but Jesus chewed Peter out for being violent, then went on to fix that Roman's ear even though Jesus was well within his rights to leave it rotting on the ground. Or how Jesus asked God to forgive the Romans right before dying on the cross, because the Romans were ignorant and it wasn't really their fault. _That_ sort of compassion. Christians are _nothing_ like Jesus. Is that irony, or is it hypocrisy? I can't decide.
BloodyBay do you put every one who claims to be a Christian all in one boat? the fact is we are not all in one accord... that is why there is so many denominations.. heretic sounds like a catholic word... I think it is sad that someone offs themselves... especially if they have never been born again... No one is like Jesus.. He was sinless He was God in the flesh... he is also the One who will be seated at the great White Throne to cast unbelievers into the lake of fire... He is also the One who will send down plagues during the last half of the 7 year Tribulation... keep in mind that He hates sin.. and became flesh and took on a gruesome punishment for it.... none of us are perfect and all of us are sinners... some of us are just saved sinners...
a real Christian would never wish hell on anyone. That attitude is so far from what we profess to believe. Robin Williams went through a struggle in his life, that we can never understand, because we weren't there. I honestly wish him eternal peace. What part of do not judge, do we not understand? If you believe In God, then leave it there, don't cast stones on someone else's struggle and pain.

+Saddam Hussein Peace Saddam... but under our constitution by being a comedian Robin gets to express his 1st Amendment rights. As a human he can fling his fists in the face of God. I have been to the middle east and tried to respect the Muslims. Their draconian laws are unique, but i prefer the long suffering of the man we call Jesus. Peace to you anyway... who has descended from Abraham.
Poor dear Robin's life was hell. His parents ignored him. He had to play by himself. His marriages failed. Then he got an incurable disease which gave him a hellacious future. That's why he committed suicide. He is finally at peace. He was a totally unique talent the likes of which we will never see again. I am sure that he is seated at The Right Hand of The Father. Ok.....and what about the possibility that earth will be destroyed by a meteorite and mankind does not exist anymore? ? In that case we can not be sent back.
peetjemuilwijk What about the counterpossibility that Earth isn't the only world of sentients in the entire cosmos? Or the counterpossibility that a Divinity who created the world before can always -- and just as easily -- do so again? The Great Wheel could very well be as endless as the Buddhists describe. Think about it. Just because the Abrahamic/ JudeoChristianIslamic religions like to paint the Creator as a monstrous and manipulative God of Death who created this world for no other purpose than to destroy it -- and who will not hesitate to do so should we fail to placate said Creator -- _is no indication that that's how the Creator actually is._
Robin Willams and George Carlin two guys I wish were still with us. Their observations on life delivered with humor were always spot on. Miss these guys.😊❤❤
+demigod2324 Robin nails nothing anymore, but Jesus said, heaven and earth may pass away, but my word shall never pass away. And Jesus the son of a carpenter was far more. He was described by John as "the lamb that takes away the sins of the world" far more than a carpenter. Jesus spent his time, teaching, healing, and calling men to repentance, not nailing boards together, but rather piercing the darkness of men with blinding light of God's firm conviction of truth against evil. Like us, Robin was flesh and spirit and allowed to live for a season, but unlike us Christ has been from the Beginning and lives still... John 1:1 As the word of God he lives, has always lived and is the architect of all that stands, to include the stars in the heavens.

Robin Williams was so good you laughed just hearing his name, if he only saw all the love for him. We can use him right now' imagine him as a stand in Press Secretary for a day on April 1. 🤣🤣🤣
My God, here is the comment section where I realize Humanity is fucked. Robin is a fucking comedian, it's his job to make fun of things, God has a sense of humor he created Humans, right? Heh. If we can't laugh at anything no matter how offensive, I'll start another fucking society on Mars (Which will probably fall because Humans).
"God has a sense of humor "---Want to know God's sense of humour??? (Proverbs 1:24-33) "Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; {25} But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof: {26} I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; {27} When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. {28} Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: {29} For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD: {30} They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof. {31} Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices. {32} For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them. {33} But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil."---God on Judgment Day will laugh at the cries, weepings, and sobs of those who rejected and mocked Him. Robin Williams knows this ALLL too well, unfortunately.
Robert Vinson II I suggest not backing the Creator in a corner. I strongly suggest you rethink a certain Book w/ 100% accurate prophecy. Please explain to us when CHRISTIANS killed people in God's name.
Robert Vinson II Yes, I want example of CHRISTIANS murdering people. I can show you roman catholics who fought the muslims during the Crusades, and I can show you 50 MILLION CHRISTIANS murdered by roman catholicism during the Inquisition. What are your examples?
filoIII I hate to tell you, but Catholics ARE Christians. You don't have a clue. Roman Catholics killed Jews, or anyone who they needed to get rid of during the Inquisition. Branches of Christianity like Luthurans, Huguenots, Church of England had not been created during the time of the Inquisition. There have been splintering from Christian groups for years, the Puritans went to North America looking for religious freedom, then more separate groups, too many to mention, and I have no idea which order they happened, but a few examples are; Methodists, Mormons Episcopalian, Baptists. The point is that that they are all Christians, and all originated from Catholicism.
As a 'small c' Christian I'm very comfortable with this kind of humor and think this particular guy is hilarious. I'm kinda glad I'm not of a belief where this kind of thing could get you killed.

"At the point when frogs fell from the sky, I'd have been going 'Take your shit and get OUT!'"
LMAO!
Robin Willams and George Carlin two guys I wish were still with us. Their observations on life delivered with humor were always spot on. Miss these guys.😊❤❤
Depression is a killer and you wont know the signs most of the time. Love your work Robin.
The negativity here is appalling. I am Catholic, and throughly enjoyed this . Bravo Robin!
Catholicism is negative on its own, though.
Seriously, the most funny man....ever.
Robin WIlliams nailed this like Jesus the Carpenter
John 1:1 As the word of God he lives, has always lived and is the architect of all that stands, to include the stars in the heavens.
johnny ray Uh oh, looks like someone hasn't realised that jeshua was fictional.
Im Jewish so i hear this story like every year. This is the best version by far
I miss Robin..........
Probably one of the few guys who could make fun of religion and actually get away w/it
I just paused it at the part where is is half signing and talking as if he was deaf and I thought, man, very few people can do that and it not make a scene. :p
I love this guy he left this Earth to soon God bless 😥😥😥
Could U imagine if Robin Williams was Pastor? I would go every day and night. Just 2 see him and hear him! ❤ him. May he R.I.P.
I'm seeing a lot more people hating on the intolerant Christian comments than intolerant Christian comments
Ben A I hate that cause that is so false
Hate the sin not the sinner Ok
I hate that your gay I don’t hate you jerry
I hate that you had an abortion sorry Stacy
I hate that you master bate I don’t hate you nick
I hate that your black not you Sarah
These are all considered sins to various Christian beliefs the race one is in Mormonism till 1978
Generally means they didn't get liked and wound up at the bottom.
best standup comic EVER
What a LOONEY, ya gotta love him, be at peace 🕊️
Robin Williams was so good you laughed just hearing his name, if he only saw all the love for him. We can use him right now' imagine him as a stand in Press Secretary for a day on April 1. 🤣🤣🤣
God, 2019 for me and this makes me laugh & cry due to Robin Williams dying back in 2014. I feel to many emotions watching this old footage.
To everyone, God has a sense of humor
+Asha Blue Sure he did, especially when kids made a joke about some guys hairline and they got their intestines eaten by vultures haha
That kid voice he had, wow!
Allow me to rephrase, it's called BRILLIANT HUMOR so get over yourselves, whomever you are!
God is big enough to take a joke, his most ardent followers? Not so much.
R.I.P
There are many intelligent people here;thank you for the kind, genreous thoughts about Robin!
6:06 he says "lamp" I almost cried.
Raspberry jam in the grass......lol. "C'mon kids, we're looking for Jesus!"
You don't want them biting the head off of a chocolate Jesus
Or a cream-filled Cross going "pfit"either. 😂
This was too good!!!
This was so funny it even made me forget my flooded kitchen lol
healing irreverence? laughing at ourselves, not taking us and God so seriously, having a drink with the big guy.
I miss Robin😭💖💋💓❤️
As a 'small c' Christian I'm very comfortable with this kind of humor and think this particular guy is hilarious. I'm kinda glad I'm not of a belief where this kind of thing could get you killed.
Robin is a gift to us all.
Omfg! I love the voice he uses for the fundamentalist!
I don't know whether HE exists and neither do any of you believers . The difference is that I am willing to admit I could be wrong .
Guns and Moses XD
So many paradigms of racism present a lack or care that it is occurring, Robin is brilliant.
"We're a traveling people, you don't want sand in there." 💀
this was the funniest stand up i seen
God,I miss him! we need his sense of humor now more than ever!
George Carlin had a Routine about God too and so did Bill Cosby so what's your point. R.I.P. Robin
I'm an atheist with some Jew in me lmao, Really enjoyed this.

Holy shit, this man was fucking brilliant
The legend, the one and only.
I love this man

his little kid voice is AWESOME. i had to rewind to make sure it wasn't fake
RIP Robin Williams - Grand Master of Comedy. You just know Pryor, Williams and Wilder are having a ball, plying their vitriolic comedy on all of the heavenly bodies. lol
R.I. Peace Robin, you will be missed.
Jesus wasn't an only child. Mary was married, so of course she wouldn't *stay* a virgin. The book of James is written by one of Jesus' brothers.
His brother was John, was he not?
AngelKay7 That was his other brother. Jesus, James, and John. (not John the disciple, of course.)
"He ends up at a bar at the age of thirty going yea I'm Jerry Christ whoppty doo!" Lmao
We miss you bro😢
