You got it wrong. It’s a cool looking square that you can also get pissed and throw across the job site and smash things with instead of a pair of pliers! Haha the hammer component is clearly secondary!
We use wrenches for hammers and flat screwdrivers for chisels... This hammer is for drawing lines only!

I was expecting this to be around $50-$75 bucks. When I saw $230 I couldn't close my browser fast enough. I'll stick with my current hammer and measuring tools that have served me well for the past 20 years.
u right ✅️ fukk that😂
It's titanium. Way lighter and still packs the same punch as a normal estwing. Feels a lot nicer in the hands as well. Yeah a normal hammer works just as well but it feels way nicer. It's a luxury tool. It's no different than buying an accord or buying a Lamborghini. In the end they both do the same thing, but one feels and looks nicer than the other one. You can also get a titanium stiletto with a wooden handle for around $120. I have no regrets from that investment.
@@Nameentered it's more than just a nice feel. Also reduced vibrations so less fatigue and less damage to joints. Professionals time is worth a lot of money and even a small increase in late day productivity is easy to justify on a tool you will own for decades
Stiletto is around 200 so it makes sense. Yes ik it's ridiculous for a hammer but tradesmen buy them so what are you gonna do
Would you rather swing a 22oz estwing for 10 hours, or an 18oz stiletto titanium?
Estwing hammer-20$, Swanson speed square-10$. Not having to pull your hammer out everytime you make a cut- priceless
I own my grandfather's estwing, 80+ years of brick laying between him and my father and it is the best and only hammer I've ever used and the only one I will!
Estwing are $120 in Australia
$20 for an estwing?? What year are you living in
Once upon a time it was 20$ lol. Not anymore!
I bought a Estwing 22 Framing hammer last week for $27.75 USD from a Home Depot in Calgary this past week. I believe that HD is dropping Estwing.

It’s titanium which is why it’s so expensive. The full titanium stilettos are about the same price as that (and honestly feel just as good if not better than even a wood handle at the end of the day).
That's was my first thought wood handles make a huge difference on your elbow

Or prying sometimes, but I'll never pull my hammer when I need to measure or cut an angle.
I had a 30 x 40 pole barn built. A crew of 3 experienced barn builders had it finished in 3 days. After they measured the pole and door locations, and squared up the poles, i never saw them use any type of traditional tape measure, etc. They had speed squares, regular framing hammers and 2x lumber of known lengths. I saw them using the hammer in various ways to measure girt spacing and such. They were using regular hammers like you get at Lowes or Home Depot.

Ive never had nor want my hammer out if Im cutting something.
Then put it away before you grab your saw!
I'd have a speed square or a framing square or something that's, you know, accurate.
Does it come in hot pink? This'll be great for the foreman.
Lol
Would totally buy this for my supervisor
Actually it does... 265 bucks. 🤷🏻♂️ That's an expensive joke
😂😂😂😂😂
I'm using my hammer all wrong..😂😂
It's worth every penny, I just aint paying no 250 for it
There’s cheaper ones on their website that do the same stuff. Some of their steel hammers are only $65
The 250$ tag is because it’s titanium. It’s geared towards professional framers who swing it all day long.
@@bentrod3405: Professional framers don't swing hammers all day no more than they cut lumber by handsaw all day long.
229. Now I know why I’ve never seen one used before!
Same with a stiletto. Their entire market is the Amish
And it costs 6x as much as a normal hammer and an angle finder combo. That is one hell of a premium on a little bit of extra convenience.
Ever priced out a stiletto?
Anything that makes your everyday job easier and quicker is always better.
I'd say it's worth it if I wore one on my hip everyday..
If it’s titanium like the stiletto mentioned and comes in metric I’d buy one !
Great just what I need. Something to take away my excuse for losing my square 😂
You lay out with a tape measure not a hammer.
Exactly! I’m thinking, perfect for the ADD builder
good for beating a stud back in place or as a rescue if you dropped or forgot before climbing or to prevent returning from far side of complex
After 6 months of digging dirt and concrete off all my lumber that's been sitting out in the rain, that claw will always be 1/4 off
