Many congratulations! I've actually been testing this deck heavily and trying to find the sweet spot. Glad this version worked well for you. I've been going back and forth with having more of a Tearlaments element, instead of the Horus engine.
Much more testing to go, but people will understand the power of the Skull!

Thank you so much! You're the reason I started playing Skull Servants as my first ever Yu-Gi-Oh deck in 2016, it makes me really happy I can share this list with you now :) Would love to hear about your progress and builds with it - personally I can't imagine playing without Horus, they always force interaction from your opponent if they have any, they get Baking out of hand so easily and set up an early negate to push with the rest of your hand, I think that's the best compliment you can ask for alongside the skulls

@@jamesbrowne421 BTW I've been converted to the Horus engine! Haha.

@@jamesbrowne421if you're looking to go first with skull servants you should really think about adding shadows light and a single wightprincess. wightlord and wightprincess are light zombies so if you start with unizombie or any skull servant you can summon princess and lord. also you can banish it from grave to get an extra normal summon so its not bad to mill going first either. It also makes unizombe getting handtraped hurt a lot less because it allows you to summon a princess to dump a prince and if they decide to handtrap the princess you can syncro into immortal dragon and still be able to dump a zombie that you need.

cool to see! I'm playing LS Servant in 40 cards instead of 60

@TooDuelForSchool I disagree 40 is the best for skull servants because 60 needs more draw power

@jeremymcbride whats your deck list? I'm curious to see a 40 card build for them that can keep up with the current decks

@@MrJawshoouhh Here is the core 34 cards, then there is room to play around.
      -15-
      3 baking
      3 lord
      3 prince
      2 lady in wight
      2 skull servant
      2 king
[dont play the fluff names. theyre just bricks]
      -13-
      3 ls dragonling
      2 ls weiss
      3 ls wulf
      2 ls felis
3 charge of the light brigade
[the idea here was 10 names + 3searchers. Weiss is only good if you draw a brick, so theoretically you can play less Weiss if you play less bricks. old school yugioh ratio math says 2 copies with 5 ways to use it, ie 5 bricks/2weiss. In tournament I did feel like I was just short on names playing this ratio. Always missing a tuner, or drawing weiss alone and milling the other one.]
      -6-
      1 mudora
      1 keldo
      1 scheiren
      1 trick clown (selene access)
      1 one for one
      1 foolish burial
      [nonengine engine]
The last 6 slots I did 2 different things:
1 zepyros [oddly this card always felt best with the next 6 card package to bounce kings sarc]
      3rd felis
      3rd weiss
      2 solar recharge
      1 reasoning or 3rd recharge
      -or-
      3 imsety
      1 hapi
      2 king sarc
after playing with all these combinations, I actually settled on playing 45 cards in the main, playing all of those 12 minus the reasoning. I never milled more than 1-2 with it so meh.
      Extradeck
      1 synchro Minerva
      1 geomathmech final sigma
1 transcendosaurus glaciasaurus [hilarious synergy + towers]
      1 xyz Minerva
1 dugares [every effect is relevant]
      1 bagooska
      1 zombie vampire
      1 mudragon [for schiren]
      1 relinquished anima
      1 sp
      1 apolusa
      1 dharc
      1 lyna
      1 selene
      1 accesscode
Going first the target board is apo x3-4 + bagooska, add trancendosaurus if your hand and mills are cracked. A bad board can just make final sigma + bagooska.
side scarlight and cowboy for time options. Spiritual swords of revealing light for tenpai.

Awesome. Good to see. Been out the game years and had an OG servant deck back in the day. Now doing research as unfamiliar with most cards 😂

Hello again, this is me! Any questions about the deck and how it works, ask me here :)
One thing I wanted to mention that I forgot to throw in at the end is what the endboard looks like - It's typically Apo + Minerva + Photon Lord + IP + reframing + Aegis on an average hand, and then mill dependent it'll have Knightmare Gryphon in the MMZ and potentially a droplet or followup card set off of Gryphon as well, and King's Sarc will be there as followup if you opened it.
EDIT: forgot to include minerva is part of the endboard!

    • @mangodangoLTE
      @mangodangoLTE 4 месяца назад +1

how do you resolve reframing with that endboard? cause reframing needs you to control a synchro monster

    • @jamesbrowne421
      @jamesbrowne421 4 месяца назад

@@mangodangoLTE my apologies, I made a mistake - Minerva is always left on my endboard for both reframing and aegis, i'll edit that in. She's decent follow-up to leave on board to as you can use the effect to banish to mill again on your next turn.

Do you prefer to go first or second?

    • @jamesbrowne421
      @jamesbrowne421 4 месяца назад

@@michaelnguyen0716 I like to do both! The deck is built to go first primarily, but the non-engine is well equipped to go 2nd - Milling decks always have the potential to push through big boards.

I want to make this in masterduel. I'm a yugiboomer that recently started playubg again and skullservant and lightsworn are dear to me. I remember I played a version of the deck back in like 2012. Good times.

Im trying to build this deck currently. Im not fussed about being 40 cards. Id like to keep the main deck as zombie core as possible. Any ideas for a more pure build or if Ash or Infinite is worth putting in?
